Do not forget to backup your phone’s data before doing a factory data reset. Here’s our guide.

Performing a Factory data reset restores your device to the original factory settings as it comes out of the box. It also deletes the data like installed apps, contacts, messages, images, etc. present on the internal storage. It does not, however, affect any data stored on the external SD card. Now here is how you can hard reset your LG G2/G3 from device Settings:

Tap the Menu key from Homescreen.
Select System settings> General.
Now scroll to PERSONAL.
Select Backup & reset option.
Tap Factory data reset> Reset phone.
Select Erase everything.
When the warning window prompts, tap OK.

Wait till reset is done.

My Kocaso Android Tablet 4GB it loads to the android logo n stays there is there a way to reset the tablet

Hi.

If you recently had a modification on your ROM, you may be experiencing a BOOT LOOP which is common to Android Tablets. A factory reset would be the best solution to that. Here's how to do it;

Turn-off your Tablet by long-pressing your power button. To be sure it's totally shutdown, wait for at least 30 seconds before proceeding to factory reset. If your tablet's battery can be removed, it would help if you detach the battery and put it back again before proceeding.

Resetting your Tablet to factory setting erases all the data in your tablet's memory, so you have to be ready to encode all contacts again and stuff like that.

Factory Reset Proper;

1. Press VOLUME UP and POWER button at the same time without releasing until the device boots to "Recovery Mode".

2. In Recovery Mode, scroll down by pressing VOLUME DOWN until you reach the option "Swipe Data/Factory Reset" or any equivalent to Factory Reset therein.

3. Follow through the succeeding menus until the device initiates the reset.

Note: If your Device has a HOME button (usually located at the Center-bottom of the LCD), the buttons to be pressed to enter into Recovery Mode are HOME and POWER at the same time. Release only after the device shows it boots in Recovery Mode.

I hope this helps you.
