you actually need to unlock your phone to use the simcard not just a code. boost mobile and tmobile run and different networks to its not as simple as putting in a different sim card.
Boost Mobile runs on an IDEN network where tmobile runs on a GSM network. Unfortunately the boostmobile sim card will only work in nextel and boostmobile branded IDEN phones.
Yes. After unlock it, you can use it with any carrier that has SIM card. Yes, I used my unlocked Tmobile wing oversea as well. (In Asia, cuz they use sim card as well, not sure about other area.)
