I have a Mr. Coffee, Model JWX20 with no instructions. I would like to set it so that it will come on in the morning and brew coffee before I wake up. I can't find a manual. Does anyone know how...

Set the Clock: 1. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet . The clock will flash on the control panel to indicate that the time has not been set yet. 2. Press and hold the HOUR and MINUTE buttons until you reach the current time. The AM or PM indicator will light a t the bottom of the display The clock is now set! NOTE: Pressing any button before setting the clock will cause the clock to start keeping time from 12:00 a.m. You must set the clock if you want to use the Delay Brew feature. To Set the Delay Brew Time: *While the display is in the clock mode, simply press the SET DELAY button and, while the DELAY BREW time is flashing, set the brew time by pressing the HOUR and MINUTE but tons. *The AM or PM indicator will light at the bottom of the clock display. *Within a few seconds the display will change to the current time. The Delay Brew Time is now set!

Accidently pushed delay start, now annot wash

Hi sallysue5928 - How long was the delay start set to? Typically the delay time selected will be displayed as 30, 60, or 90 minutes or 2 through 14 hours. However, try reprogramming the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. If it was unsuccessful then unfortunately you will have to wait till the time of the delay start cycle that was selected.

Setting timer on window unit to turn on and off

Hi Jessica Yacopino - Generally speaking, Frigidaire air conditioners timer option typically have the same procedure. The unit must be in the ON position for the timer delay stop option. For delay start, the unit must be in the OFF position. First, press time button. Then to adjust timer setting, tap or hold the UP arrow or the DOWN arrow to change delay timer at .5 hour increments, up to 10 hours, then by 1 hour increments up to 24 hours. The control will count down the time remaining until start (8, 7.5, 7, etc.). The Delay Start mode automatically selects cooling with maximum Fan Speed. The temperature maintained will be the same as previously set. To change the set temperature, press "COOL" then Up or Down arrows until the desired temperature is indicated on the display. After 5 seconds, the control will automatically change the display back to the hours remaining until the unit will start/stop. PRESSING the unit On/Off button at any time will cancel the Delay Start/Stop function. The Delay Start/Stop Feature will work until the unit either starts or stops. Once that happens the above steps have to be repeated again.

I have just bought the yardworks 2 zone water timer from Canadian Tire and there are no instructions anywhere. I have managed to get it to work for one minute and I have it set to do the same in one hour...

Delayed Watering
You can delay the first watering cycle of each watering zone by up to 12 hours by using the small button at the bottom middle of each zone area. Press the delay button 1 time for each hour you wish to delay the first start time. The "Low Battery" light will illuminate when you press the button. The maximum delay is 12 hours.
For example, if you are programming at 4:00 in the afternoon and you want your timer to water every 12 hours, but you want the first watering of the day to start at 6:00 a.m., press the Delay button two times. Without the delay, the first cycle would have occurred 12 hours after the timer is programmed (4:00 a.m.). The delay feature changes that to 6:00 a.m. The timer will then water every 12 hours after that.

Dishwasher ran all night still not finished. Error code 4H displaying.

Hi and welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly. The 4H is indicating your dishwasher is in the delayed wash start mode. Here is some information from Sears about what to do:

  • The number letter combination indicates that the dishwasher is in a "Delay Start" mode, as well as how many hours were set for the delay start.
  • The dishwasher will not start the wash until it reaches the delayed hour that it was set for. Example: 1H = 1 hour delay start, 2H = 2 hour delay start, etc.
    • To start the dishwasher immediately and not wait for the Delay Start time, cancel the "Delay Start" option, by pressing the Cancel button. Then program the cycle and options and press Start.
    • To start the dishwasher after the Delay time, select the cycle and options desired. Select the "Delay Start" option and on some dishwashers it requires, pressing the Start button.
    • Some dishwashers will display a countdown of the delay time on the display.
Note: Refer to the Owner's Manual or Use & Care Guide for specific instructions on using the "Delay Start" feature.

If you need more assistance we will need your exact model number in any of your future responses.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

Setting the delay on the oven

To correctly proceed you have to know the format the timer program is working in. SO you need to know
1Time format IE 12 hour AM - PM or 24 hr military time 2If a day, date is required M-Sun...or IE Sat 12th of March...(some times this is not a peramiter needed)

With the clock and calendar set the delay time should require a "timed mode setting" prior to being able to set the timer. Once in this mode you will have 1 of 3 ways to set the time delay depending on how the timer is set up to read your instructions. .
1 the actual time of day it is to start (set in actual clock time like the equalivant of 3:05 PM or if in military time, 24hr clock 15:05) or 2 the actual delay time until the program is set to start (again set in hours and minutes 2:10 = 2 hours and 10 minutes from now) 3 also is the stop time, when you want to program to end (also set in the format the timer is programed to recieve instructions)

Also the calendar could be waiting for input as to which day to start the program

Set brew delay

Assuming you're talking about the FT series with the "delay brew" button and the 24 hour analog as opposed to digital clock, it's simple.

First, you have to have your correct time set. This is simple just press the hour button and then the minute button until the correct time is showing. Be sure to look for the AM PM indicator to make sure you're getting the desired time set.

Then press the delay brew button and use the same hour and minute buttons until you get the desired time (again watch for am/pm)

That's it.
