There are "file-scavenger" types of programs.
Compare it to tearing the table-of-contents out of a book; this does not mean that all the pages in the book go "blank" -- it just means that you have to read the book, page-by-page, to find each page, and to "chain" pages together into chapters.

So, a "file-scavenger" program will try to read each sector of your disk-drive, trying to "recover" those "lost" files.

Stop using your computer, so that you don't overwrite any of the "lost" files, and use another computer to search online for "file-scavenger" programs -- some are free, and some are commercial.

I want to reactivate my facebook account

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";}

Just try to sigh in; there will be a message that says it's sending you a re-activation email. Open your email and you just have to click the link in that email to get to the sign in page again and sigh in.

"It will be sent to the email account you used to start your facebook account".

I am running XP. I went to RUN - MSCONFIG, then go to START tab. You will find an entry for this DLL. Uncheck to box, choose APPLY, and restart your PC, the nagging pop up on restart should be gone.

I have an Panasonic DMC-FX7 Lumix camera. I went to Kinkos so they could download the pictures on to a CD-rom, they tried their scan disk and it was not working. When I tried to look at the pictures in...

Hey longleggs,
Your images are most likely not lost, and you were right to not format the card when prompted to do so. There are multiple program downloads available on the internet that usually can recover your images. I would search the web for photo recovery program and you should get multiple results. Some of these programs are free and some come at a charge. I would try the free ones first since just because one program can't recover your images doesn't mean another program can't. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan

Record to disk

I was having the same problem and tried many different types of DVD-R (16x, 8x, even 4x thining speed might be the problem) finally went to the web page and downloaded the updated program. When I put that download into the disk drive the machine read it and the problem went away. Had not been able to use high speed before that either but it worked after the updated program was in it.
