What year was my Winchester lever action 22 model 9422 serial # F670235 manufactured and what is its value

a search shows that the gun was made between 1980 and 1981
the serial numbers are F as the F went from F31532----F489918 where your serial number is in the middle so it they changed every month somewhere around july 1980 ( you can work it out if you want to be exact )

Anything from for .303 Savage, .30-30 Winchester, .300 Savage, .25-35 Winchester, .250 Savage (also called the .250-3000 Savage, .22 Hi Power, .22-250 Remington, .243 Winchester, .308 Winchester, .358 Winchester, 7mm-08 Remington, .284 Winchester, .38-55 Winchester, .32-40 Ballard, .375 Winchester

Mark, I'm not sure if you ever got your answer in all of that above but just in case you didn't....yours is in the war years 1944, or 45. Winchester kept no records of public serials those years because pretty much all of their manufacturing went to the war effort. Simply no record keeping. In 1942, #1221289, was sold. 43, 44, 45, 46, and 47 there were no records. In 1948 they began again at the number 1500000. You can't get any accurate to the day date on yours but if you divide those numbers by the five years you get approx 55,700 a year. So 1221289 + 55700 is approx 1277000. Add another 55700 and you get approximately late 1944 to early 45 for your rifle. I hope that helps.
