E2 is not an error code. It means that the video tuner is set to EXT2 (Scart input 2)

Press the VCR button on the remote control, and try again.

- does it load a tape cassette?
- does it rewind or fast forward?
- unplugging it for at least 1 minute should reset the error code.
- if not, there is a serious circuit problem which is not likely worth repairing.

What do codes e2 and f1 mean?

Here is what the manufacture says about it, my comments are below.

F1 E2 - UL A/D error(s)

1. Verify failure if not displayed, using CANCEL/OFF key. Press key for 5 seconds until last
error code is displayed.
2. Disconnect power longer than 30 seconds.
3. Re-apply power and observe for longer than 1 minute.
4. If failure remains, disconnect power, replace control.

Phil's comments----->

F1 Codes are related to the control itself, if there was a storm, power outage, surge etc it could have damaged the control. Try resetting the board by unplugging the range or turning off the breaker for a couple minutes. Restart and see if that helps. If not you will need to replace the control.

The part number for this unit is 4453614 and runs just over $300.00

Whirlpool Oven Model RF365PXGN getting a error of F1 and E2

HELLO, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS FIND YOUR CIRCUIT BREAKER BOX AND LOOK IN IT FOR THE BUTTON THAT SAYS KITCHEN. TURN THE KITCHEN POWER OFF FOR 30 MINUTES THEN TURN IT BACK ON. ONCE YOU TURN IT BACK ON THE OVEN SHOULD RESET ITS SELF. TRY THAT AND IT SHOULD HELP.

Vr540 philips

Error 2 and error 3 and error 4 are tech codes.
and if your unit won't reset, you can take it to your local
electronic repair shop. I had error 3 on my Phillips,
and he went to the PM webpage, researched it, and fixed it perfectly for $39.00 total. STILL WORKING!
He said it was some little thing to replace that took him 15 minutes.
If you don't want to buy one of the REALLY cheaply made vcrs or DVD/vcr combos that are out now, it worth a little phone time to find
an electronics repair shop. Or the new DVD recorders with vcr combos are very good, but sturdy ones are expensive.

Philips VR540 video cylinder motor slowly go round. Why ?

Nope, the only thing you can do is make sure the cylinder motor has the proper B+ on it and replace the cylinder motor if the voltage is correct, but to tell you the truth a new unit would most likely be less expensive the a nes cylinder motor. hope this helps. Good Luck
