SOURCE: Where do I plug the yellow plug of my rca jack in the back of my Vizio 3D tv. There is no yellow slot. I plugged the yellow in the green slot. Game works but no color.

Try changing the menu from NTSC to pal or vice versa for output.

How to hook up a Roku2 to Sony KLV-S32A10 TV with A/V cable (yellow/red/white Ports)

If you plug into the box and TV with the composite plugs then you need to change inputs. Your TV is currently set to use HDMI. You need to change the source with your remote.

Can I hook up my roku device to this tv If so what kind of cable do I need?

On the back of the TV/VCR unit there is an input for audio & video plugs. These will accept a composite video signal and mono audio signal. I'm not sure if newer roku has these outputs as they are low def only signals. The roku would need to have have red, white & yellow sockets. (Old Roku's had these....) Yellow is video, red and white are L & R audio. Use a y adapter to merge red & white together, and use a standard RCA patch cord to connect the roku composite outputs to the TV VCR inputs.

I recommend you purchase a wiring harness. RCA output should be on the back of the unit (red and white plugs). Remote wire is probably blue running off the back of the unit. You can purchase a harness at www.crutchfield.com it will have the color codes on the packaging and allow you to just "plug" you radio in, once you hook it to the harness of course.

Can't hook vcr to tv

on the back of your VCR there will be a yellow colored port - most likely labeled "OUT" as well as possibly a white/red pair of ports.
The yellow is for a VIDEO hookup, the white and red are for AUDIO hookups.
These ports use what is called an RCA type connection.
Radio Shack, or just about any department store should be able to sell you an inexpensive set of RCA cables.

now on the back of the TV (possibly on the side) you will also have the yellow, white and red ports.

Hook one end of the RCA cable to the colored ports on the VCR, the other end of the cable to the colored ports on the TV.

last thing - the TV most likely has multiple inputs. there is probably a input button on the TVs remote, you need to press that button to cycle through the inputs until you get to the one the VCR is hooked up to.
its easiest to put a tape in the VCR and press play - when you get to the right input, you will see your tape...

good luck

Connected one end of the 3 colored prongs to roku player, but where does the other end go???

Do you mean the Red, White, and Yellow wires? They go to the back of your TV. You won't need them at all if you are using the HDMI (flat plug) cable to connect to your TV.

You connect up a DVD to a TV via the Audio Visual leads, they go into the Red White, the Audio, & Yellow, the composite Video. In & Out. They wire color to color. Then you select AV on the TV. & press Play on DVD.

Hi,
This would be 5 pins, red-white is for audio and rest of 3 pins red-green-blue for video signal, it calls component video.
Find out red-green-blue jacks at back of TV that would be label as Y, Yr, Yb
Plug each pin in same color to get color picture.

DVD won't play movies in color

RCA cable connectors (red, white, yellow) are usually for an analog setup. You could still use these for "component" setup, but know the difference with color stamps as follows:

Component color stamps are "blue, green, red" ( blue is marked Pb, green is marked Y, red is marked Pr)

RCA color stamps your using are "red, white, yellow"

Here are the proper hook up method for "Component" using your "RCA" connectors:

On both the TV and DVD component setup:

Plug the red RCA fitting in the component port marked "Pr (red)

Plug the white RCA fitting in the component port marked "Pb (blue)

Plug the yellow RCA fitting in the component port marked "Y (green)

Be sure this setup is the same for the TV's component input ports, and the DVD's component output ports.

i-Note:

For optimum picture quality you may want to purchase component cables as the gage is thicker giving better impedance match resulting in better picture and sound quality.

Hook up

On the back, there are three ports that are color-coded and match the cables. Take the yellow cable and plug it into the yellow port. Do the same with the red and white. Take the other end of the cables and plug them into your TV or VCR. Most TVs and VCRs have ports for the cables on either the back or front, and are also color-coded. Plug the yellow cable into the yellow plug on your TV/VCR, and repeat for the red and white cables.
