Still need to know what the problem here is. To address the amp issue is easy. Most factory installs use only the amp that is built into the radio deck and do not have an external amp. If you do have an amp...which would be a higher end factory install then you are using your deck as the preamp and then going to the amp. You need to find that amp for the hook up.

2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac wires that I need to bypass to the aftermarket amp.

That usually causes a whole heap of troubles because the amp and radio are connected to the BCM and are part of the computer system. Things like turn signal clickers and door open chimes are actually part of the radio / amp system.

How can i replace 1991 maxima radio system?

The original radio is a BOSE system and it has a buit in amp. So if you replaced the deck you need to replace the speakers all so. Don't cut the wires to hook-up the deck buy an addapter KIT. It's not just the stereo that runs though that harness the factory alarm does all so and that will cause you problems. Anyway back to the stereo you need to add an amplifier and problem sovled.

Hooked up my custom stereo in my 1999 300m and there is no sound

Check your wiring.. Also is there a factory amp?? If so did you wire around the factory amp to each speaker? After market radios can not be used with factory amps & must be wired around it. I posted a wiring diagram below for you to check your wiring.
