I love the hourly chime, but want to either make it for 2 hours or set it up again
Clocks chime the hour
what is the point of having a clock that chimes every 2 hours because you will not know how long it was from the last chime or be able to calculate the time between chimes
Testimonial: "I've always had chiming clocks and love them for time management. I have a specific task that needs to be completed every two hours and was wondering if the clock can do that. No reason to ask what is the point because if I'm asking the question, there IS a point!"
you are like all the rest--you are always short on details but quick to criticize an answer
you never mentioned that you have a specific reason for the 2 hour requirement but stated that you wanted a 2 hour chiming clock which you won't get and it is as simple as that
if you have something to do every 2 hours get a timer that rings a bell and set it for 2 hour intervals
and next time you want to ask a question , think it through and include every detail to get the answer that YOU want---It is as simple as that
Bill, if you hadn't been so passiely agressive if your original response, this entire conversation would have gone differently.
This was the first time on this site after googling my question. Stating the obvious that clocks chime on the hour, and then the remark about "what's the point" put me on the defensive with you and perhaps the site. And if I'm looking for a clock that chimes every two hours, then that is my question. I don't have to state the reason, do I? A timer woulodn't due as I wouldn't be in a position to reset it every hit. So, really this hasn't been simple at all. All I wanted to know was could it be set for ever two hours. "It's as simple as that". Happy New Year Bill.
Regards, Carole
you obviously do not know how timers work as you set it for 2 hour operations and forget it and every 2 hours it will switch on
I have to talk simple ---and don't be aggressive with me as like all people with a mobile phone you type and send with out reading your questions and statements to see if it makes sense--- just like your last comment
