How to change tone to pulse dialing mode in Panasonic kx-tg6822eb cordless phone

The directions for changing the dialing mode from tone to pulse can be found in the owner's manual for the main base unit.

Press the [MENU] button then choose "Set tel line". Then choose "Set dial mode", then choose Pulse or Tone and press [OK].

We recommend you use change the handset's dialing mode from pulse to tone.

Touch the following keys: Menu 0 5 1 and then select 1 (tone, the factory default) or 2. Then Save (a softkey with the label in the LCD screen) and Off (opposite Talk on the keypad).

The owner/user manual should have instructions on how to accomplish this. I take it that you no longer have the manual, so you'll have to root around in the phone's settings (you may have to access the tone/pulse setting from the base unit), to select the desired dialing mode. On some older phones (including cordless), the tone/pulse selection is a physical switch on the base unit (on the top/bottom/side/back). Look carefully... I hope I've helped you!

The cordless phones supports pulse dialing than tone now a days.
If your provider supports pulse dialing & tone you can just change the tone to pulse to use cordless phone. Otherwise you have to request for pulse dialing from your provider.

These days, most phone networks use a method called tone dialing, so your phone comes programmed for tone dialing. If your phone company uses pulse dialing, you need to change your phone's dial mode. If you don't get a dial tone or can't connect to the telephone network, follow the steps below to modify your phone?s settings: With the phone in standby, press and hold [cid/menu]. Press [vol/ / ] to move the pointer to select DIAL. Press [select/channel] to set the phone to pulse dialing. Press [end]. Return the handset to the base. Go to the menu and choose Tel line and the go to set dial mode and then choose the dial mode like dial or pulse mode

There is usually a switch to change it from dial pulse to touch tone.If there is no switch check your user manual to see if there is a screen option.

reset the dial mode if it is on tone and you have pulse it will not dial out.

Program --> Auto --> ** --> Program (Pulse to DTMF)
Program --> Auto --> ## --> Program (DTMF to Pulse)
