Have you put a meter on the switch to find out if you have voltage going to it? If you do, then I would suspect the switch.

My kenmore elite refrig keeps leaking water from what appears to be condensation. It gets so bad that the ice maker door freezes shut and water actually drips on the floor. The freezer is set to 0 while...

The high level of condensation is due to constant opening of the fridge when the frost develops. It is required to defrost off the condensation and if this has an auto mode timer for defrost , then it is possible that it is not working.
The water must drain out to the drain tank but since it is formed out of the freezer the water flows out of the collection tray.

Ice maker stopped working

Pour about 2/3 cup of water into the icemaker . After freezing , it dumps , replace the dual water inlet valve behind the refrig . If it does not dump the cubes , check that the coils are clean under the refrig at the bottom in front , and if they are and the freezer seems to cool good , then replace the ice maker . NOTE : If the ice maker dumps and not refil with water , replace the valve AND check the tube which fills the ice maker inside , to make sure ice has not frozen inside the tube , which also indicates a bad water valve ( seeps ( not closing completely )) .

Water is dripping into the bottom of my fridge. I have cleaned and vacumned the coils. How do I access the drain to see if it is frozen?

Remove the ice maker and back panel in freezer.1/4 inch nut driver to remove screws. there are 3 screws for the ice maker 2 on the back wall and 2 on the bottom panel. Use a hair dryer to melt ice block. All water will flow down into drip pan under fridge. May overflow use a turkey baster to remove water from pan. Pour hot water onto drain until the water flows freely into the pan.

Ice maker not producing ice, already check the basic problems,

The water tube to the icemaker inside the refrig maybe frozen up. Thaw out with your hair dryer. To make sure the tube is clear. Shut of the water to the refrig, disconnect the inlet water line to the icemaker. Insert a flexable through the connector fitting, I used a zip tie. The flexable item should go all the way to the icemaker

Solution #2 Replace the "water inlet valve" at bottom back right of refrig. Easy To Do.

Ice maKer is not getting water but the water side works.

Your refrig water valve , has 2 coils on one valve . One is for the water dispensor , and one is for the ice maker . So even if you get water thru the dispensor , the other coil ( for the ice maker ) could be bad . The fill tube from inside the freezer to the ice maker , could be frozen solid , keeping the water from entering the ice maker . This frozen tube , would be caused be the water valve " seeping " , which means , it isn't closing completely , and drips freezing inside the tube . indicating a bad water valve . Pour about 2/3 cup of water into the ice maker . If it dumps , but doesn't refill with water , replace the water valve but also check this tube . If the ice maker does not dump the frozen cubes , replace the ice maker , but also check the coils under the refrig , for dust , lint , etc , needing to be cleaned off . The ice maker needs to be 5 degrees to operate , and dirty coils can keep the freezer at 6 degrees or above .

Ice Maker Overfills With Water

Ice maker has adjustment on right side of power head. If ice maker is inside on upper left, you can remove white cover from it and the adjusting screw in on right. Turning counter-clockwise will decrease fill by 1/2 to 3/4 of ounce. Sounds like a small amount, but ice make only uses 4 ounces per fill. If this does not fix, try replacing fill valve. If ice maker ice bin is in the freezer door, you have to remove cover to ice maker in the top of freezer. Ice maker is screwed into top of freezer and need to be removed to take off cover to adjuster screw. same procedure for reducing water flow time as above.

Water is freezing in the supply line for the ice maker

This usually means you have a weeping water valve. The water valve doesn't completely shut down after filling the icemaker. This deposits a staedy flow of water which freezes and accumulates in the tube, eventually blocking it off. You would need to replace the water valve which is located at the rear of the refrigerstor. One othe thing to check would be the water supply to the refrig. If the water dispenser is working fine then that isn't an issue. However, if that is flowing slowly you would need to replace the saddle valve which is tapping into your house water supply.
