Model gx6750
SOURCE: GX6750 Typing wrong letters
Linda, first of all, does the daisy wheel spin when the typewriter is first turned on? if it does, then you will feel assured that it is installed properly. Next, refer to your manual to key board settings. It will indicate that there are settings for normal standard English keyboard and somehow that setting may have been changed. It would be also be important to check the daisy wheel to see if it is compatible with standard English keyboard...Cheers, John

If you are not in proportional space or a KBII you probably have a broken P/W homing pawl.

If you are not in KBII or a language mode the printwheel homing pawl is probably broken. You need a tech.
