Just today, the turntable won't stop turning when the door is closed.

If the door is left open, it stops (which leaves the light on), but close the door again, and it just starts turning. Pushing every single button has not yield positive results. Any ideas?

Have you pressed the stop button twice when the door is closed to exit the program set for cooking

Testimonial: "Unfortunately, I have and it had no effect."

then unfortunately you may have to take it to a repair shop as there may be a problem in the stop button or program board

The panel is black. When door is open turntable turns and light is on. The only way to stop is to unplug. Can this be fixed easily? It is only 2 months old and K-Mart will not replace.

Turntable turning and light on sounds like door not closing properly or door switch problems, but that should not make panel black when door not closing right. How about the hooks sticking out of the door. are they both there and do yours move like they have a spring on them?? That has to go into the unit and push the door switches. Or may have a broken door switch

When opening microwave door - light, turntable and fan turn on. They stop when you close the door

Check to door switches to make sure they are all opening and closing their contacts when they are supposed to. Some are probably double-throw, so make sure they are making a good contact in both positions. Also look for bad connections on the switches. Most of the switches carry significant current, so the connectors tend to burn.

Turntable won't stop

Sounds like a door switch problem or stuck relay contacts on the control PCB. Do the light and fan run too or just the T/T??
