Sounds like you are over working this amp for sure.. Upgrading your power wire & battery might help, check your gain level on your amp to. This is not the volume for the amp. Its to get both amp and the cd player on the same page... And most of all if your subs are wired up to .5 ohm stable, see if your amp do the same... My answer to this ?? Upgrade your amp, Boss audio was never a good company to me, but that is my opinon. Audiobahn set up all the way..

TAKE IT TO HALFORDS AND THEY MAY FIT IT FOR YOU AS IT SOUNDS LIKE IT NEEDS A DIOD TO CUT THE VOLTAGE

in your boss amplifire system hardware problem in u try to mute and volume button please check aux port also if found no output sound then go boss service station there are some hardware problem

Sounds like the color module is out. Your gonna have to send it to an electronic repair place if it isn't under warranty.

The protection led comes because the Amps internal part on the mainbaord burned or over heated

I'm encountered that problem also in my boss laptop before. But my solution i un installed the audio driver and connect to internet and download the latest driver in installed it's working. Maybe there is a software complex in your system .
