2008 Toyota Fortuner 3.0D4D - starts very hard when hot. first cold start for the day starts immediately, thereafter cranks for a 4-5 times to start.

I would try a new fuel filter. Its possible that when the engine is hot, the fuel is vaporising causing the hard start?

Will crank but wont start

When an engine overheats, they should be shut off immediatly when any warning lights come on, or the temp. gauge reads extremly high. At this point, under extreme heat, your valves will heat up, get soft and bend. Your pistons will melt holes through them and your rings will break. Depending on how long the engine was ran in an overheated condition, your might have an engine with NO OR LOW COMPRESSION.

Temperature guage goes hot immediately upon starting 98 buick regal

Make sure you billed the system , this engine have two bleeder valves one on front above the front valve cover and the other one on the driver side on the top radiator hose near Engine , it should a 7mm add antifreeze while those bleeders are open , also check that you don't have a blown intake gasket or Head gasket , but as far is the temp goes up quick , it's because it has lots of Air in the cooling system and it must be bled . Becareful full as antifreeze may be extremely hot during this process . Hope this help

Temperature in house want go down. Don't know if it's the therostat or ac unit

Most likely the A/C unit if the house doesnt feel cool. Look on your refrigeration lines and check it for icing up anywhere on the line if you have that shut the unit down immediately. That means your possibly low on freon, dirty filter. If there is no ice on the line check the condenser (outside unit) and see if the air is hot which it should be if its not your compressor might not be kicking on. hope this helps

My Cell Phone is getting Extremely HOT after some Moisture Damage

Q1: Please suggest what to do??
A: I would plug in the phone without the battery see what happens if it still gets hot it sounds like its short circuit meaning the phone won’t last long.

Q2: Do you think it is dangerous to use it ??
A: It’s hard to say, does it get hot as you use it if so it may burn you.
The most that can happen is the phone melt but i can’t see it causing a fire or anything.

I don’t want to endanger anyone (first priority) but I don’t want to throw this phone since its expensive device

My best advice is to put phone protection on it. Wait a while call it in. pay the 50.00 or whatever it is replace it.

Wish you the best of luck..

Hp 6720s lap top running - vista does not load

If the laptop runs extremely hot, then CPU will shut down (thermal overload) and will not boot up again until it has cooled down.
Overheating problems is caused by faulty fan (stop spinning) or the fan and heatsink assembly is clogged with dust. Check the fan, it should spin freely and remove and vacuum the dust from the fan and heatsink.
Replace the fan if it is faulty.

Dies while driving

If the engine stalling occur when the engine is hot the most probable cause is a vapor lock, this is when gas boils before it reach the engine, when the engine is extremely gets hot, the gas boils and an air bubble is formed which causes the air/fuel mixture to be too lean, too much air and not enough gasoline, thus making the engine to stall. When you experience vapor lock, just let the engine cools down, have a mechanic to check your cooling system it might cause the engine to get extremely hot.

Goes immediately into protect mode

Yep. The wiring to your speakers or the speakers themselves have shorted out. You have a blown fuse. You'll need to either replace the unit or attempt to replace the fuse yourself.
