have you tried connecting ur laptop via hdmi to tv? if it works you should probably check tv settings for hdmi, if not then it is possible that the hdmi controller from tv to have some problems, i had a similar problem with a philips tv and took it to service ending up in a total replacement of motherboard and led display

My guess is that a chip or chips are beginning to fail. These chips can sometimes be replaced but be sure to get a written quote because sometimes it is more expensive to fix then it is worth. It is also not always a perfect fix. Unless chips are replaced with identical chips sound can be out of sync, tv features can be lost or any other possibilities.

I'm also looking for solution to this problem which has only recently occured. Has there been a software update for the analogue switch off?

Change the hdd or remove it then connect it to PC and do for it format , it will work .

The first thing I would do is turn the receiver off. Dish Network receivers download new software when the receiver is off. Wait for about an hour or so, or even keep if off all night. If this doesn't do it, try unplugging the receiver for about 15 sec. or so and then plug it back in and try it again. Most likely, the rcvr has a bad hard drive and the data is corrupt so I would call Dish Network and have them send you a new receiver.

the remote i had was rev 6 control and i tried every number going but no luck.
i then ordered new remote control which is rev 8(you can find this when you open the battery lid)
and i typed in 0206 and it worked(bingo).

Strange...but i have the exact tv...and I was able to delete the demo..but never had a problem with it popping up every 15 minutes.
