What can i check for, i am not getting fire to my plugs

1. Check for power to coil(s) when ignition key is in run position.
2. Check coil(s) have continuity to chassis ground.
3. Check coil wire continuity to spark plugs.
4. Check for some resistance between coil spark plug wire connection and chassis ground - should not be 0 ohms but can be very low and should not be be open (infinity) either.
5. Check for no continuity between coil(s) (12V) power connector & spark plug wire connector.

Depending on type of ignition, other things can be checked, but need to know vehicle, engine, ignition type, & etc.

Kenmore gas range model 790 oven won't light "glow plug igniter not coming on there is continuity through thermostat "valve"

The problem is usually the igniter not reaching the correct amp draw .When the igniter does not reach the correct amp draw it may allow the gas valve to partially open or not open at all. The igniters are inexpensive and easy to replace. This video will walk you thru the correct procedure for testing an oven igniter. It may be a different model but the testing will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. Not all models are available. All parts come with installation instructions.

Kitchenaid gas ccoktop electronic ignition continues to click

We called in an appliance repair technician. He said during the cleaning process of the cooktop, when the control knobs had been removed to thoroughly clean the cooktop, some cleaning fluid or water or moisture got into the ignition switch panel under the cooktop. Letting it dry for 24 hours should fix the problem and this appears to have done that.
