Denon drw585. Both decks will not close with tape inserted. No other signs of life except light in rear of cavity. Roller mech seems to be blocking tape entry. Is it a sensor switch/arm? Thanks.

It seems to me that the mechanism has got stuck in play mode, or at least was ready to go into play mode. It's either down to a cog mechanism that moves the parts into place and has become jammed, or that a belt that moves the mechanism forward has come off.

I had a canon digital camera my memory card of that camera got locked can u help me to unlock it.

Remove the memory card from the camera if it isn't already, and look along the left edge of the card. Find a small tab and slide it forward (to the unlock position) and carefully slip the card back into the camera and try again. If it reports locked again, carefully remove the card to see if the tab has moved back to the locked position.

If the tab is moving to the locked position during the insertion process, you could place a small amount of tape along the card edge - over the tab - and carefully insert the card again. You might have to remove some tape to allow the card to fit into to slot. If you never locak the card - you could put a very small drop of super glue on the tab to hold it in place. Wait for the glue to set completely before inserting into the camera.

GR-DVL320 keep getting E03 error indication. Ejecting and reinsertion of the tape does not seem to be fixing the problem, also says unit in safeguard mode. What do I do to remedy this?

1. The idler gear does not engage with the reel disk well.
2. Though the idler gear and reel disk are engaged with
each other, the tape is not wound because of overload
to the mechanism.
3. No FG pulse is output from the reel sensor.
4. No power is supplied to the reel sensor.
5. Tape transport operation takes place with a cassette
having no tape inside.
6. The tape slackens and no pulse is produced until the
slack is taken up and the tape comes into the normal

Cd label will not open

I am assuming that the packing tape is still on the printer. lift the printer cover so you can see the ink tanks. there may be some tape holding the CD tray insert in place while it was in transport.if not then try and see what is blocking the tray insert.

Vcr won't accept tape

My husband was able to fix the problem. It turns out that the sensor switch was jammed. He used a piece of duct tape to block the signal while putting in a tape. The tape went in and still worked after he removed the duct tape. I have recorded and played a tape, so all is well right now.

Tape

try this:
1. make sure the tape is not loose - turn one end to tighten
2. make sure the head is clean - try a qtip or slightly damp swap long enough to reach and clean the head (silver drum but please be extra careful not to use to much force there is a litte haed that reads the tape and if you get any strands caught on here it will be hard to get out) the head will spin but clean and hold as much as possible because the head is harder to clean while spinning and the head is in between that has a very small slot to see it but it is close to the gapped seem of the haed
3. if you can fwd and rewind tape
4. make sure nothing is stuck in like and torn tape pieces

Tape mechanism

This sounds bizarre I know, but I read another threat regarding Canon camcorders and tapes self ejecting. The advice was to ........ wait for it........ drop it onto a carpet floor from about 1/2m. My wife top me not to consider it. I continued reading and someone else had been successful using the technique. I have to report that it actually works. I dropped it (twice for good measure) and it loads tapes once again. Its true what they say, if in doubt....give it a clout!!!
