Best is a relative term... usually based on some lofty criteria... which if you have never decorated a house before... are probably not relevant.
For bunches of hundreds of thousands of dollars... Jeff Lewis (television fame) is no doubt epitomizes "the best". He will DECORATE your house to his <inspired/exceptional> taste... and probably can do it without ever needing to know what you like...
Better still... it WILL BE GREAT.
(Accomplished: highly likely the added value would cover his costs).
No one (else... I know of) can tell you what issues, concerns and visions you currently enjoy inside your imagination.
Space ISSUES ( A LOT, TOO LITTLE)...?
Comforts and personal preferences (natural woods and stone)...
or the care free of formica or ceramic...?
Things you loved from fond memories and finally breaking those ties to that disco-ball, those big, opulent, very bare RUBENS (16TH Centry ARTIST) and your "mid <last> century" AIMES lamps.
In order to determine what would be (at least) a good start for you...
You need to start listing the positive and the negative things about you targeted "DECOR" area.
Obviously ... I am assuming you do not like what you NOW have (you said "redecor")...
Watch HGTV and form up what you want to have when you are done.
Go to furniture stores to see what colors/types you like there.
Get into those appliance stores... check out SUB-ZERO, VIKING & WOLF (oh my yes) equipment... and think about those beautiful RED knobs... and the endless hour to keep them looking like they do in that show-room.
Cabinet mounted (off counter) micro-wave
Soft close pot & pan drawers... Pasta water above the cook-top.
Wine frig... soft close doors in that totally pull out pantry.
Center island with the water & power service... and finally a pull-out shelf for each of those appliances you could actually never dig out of your old cavernous cabinets.
A place for everything... Yes!
Jeff Lewis rocks!
If I had the money... I would definitely do that!
