Frigidaire microwave not working

Is the door closing properly? Do you hear it "click" when it closes. A lot of times the problem is the door switch. It is located inside the microwave. They are made of plastic and they break. If the switch is broken, the magnetron(microwaves) will not start.

Micro oven Does not operate at all. When the door opens the light is on. We put the stuff to be warmed up inside, close the door. Then click time and start,it does not start. We are in East Marredpally

there is usually a fuse inside which could have blown but they are hard to get to however if the light is on I would guess it's a problem with your doorsendor that tells it the for is closed. not a hard fix but sometimes there are safety screws on theshell

My maytag dishwasher's "clean light"

If this is a Whirlpool manufactured dishwasher, the blinking clean light is an interruption in the dishwasher program that usually indicates a component problem or program malfunction. If a component is defective, it is commonly attributed to the heating cycle or thermostat related problem. To rule out component failure, or program error, the following link explains how you may be able to clear the blinking clean light problem and possibly avoid a service call:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3575752-dishwasher_blinking_clean_light

Keep in mind all dishwashers are not alike and have different panel options. If you do not have the same set up that I have mentioned, the tech sheet for your dishwasher will explain the touch pad functions. The tech sheet is located behind the lower toe panel under the door and lists the proper sequence of buttons to push for diagnostics and troubleshooting. Just remove the screws that hold the panel in place and remove.

NOTE: Sometimes the tech sheet is located behind the inner door panel. You will need to remove the screws securing the inner panel to access it if this is the case. Make sure you turn off the main power breaker before doing so.

In many cases, I found this to be a momentary glitch in operation. If the problem keeps reoccurring the number of flashes is an indication of WHICH circuit is causing your problem. As all dishwashers differ in operation and features, refer to your tech sheet for the recommended troubleshooting steps.

NOTE: Some dishwashers use the Sani-Rinse/Air Dry combination, some use the Sani-Rinse/Heated Dry combination. Some use a sequence of three, others use a sequence of 5 pushes of the buttons. If the tech sheet is not located behind the lower toe panel, it should be affixed somewhere under the dishwasher. I have also found them located inside the inner door panel.

I Just opened my whirpool microwave model MH9181xM out of the box and i can not get it to start. Is there a programing that needs to take place before it works? Also the light is on inside and does not...

Hm, I remember my microwave had a childproof lock set when we unpackaged it. That's possibly the problem with your microwave. Otherwise, I would return it to the store where it was purchased.

Microwave oven only operates if the door is held closed

If the microwave oven operates with the door open it is a serious issue. DO NOT OPERATE IT. Call a technician immediately. The RF frequency is extremely dangerous. the safety switches inside the oven are malfunctioning and needs to be replaced

Panasonic NN-H264SF now requires holding a control panael to operate

This is usually caused by either a bad door switch, a loose door switch mount, or a problem on the control panel.

Even though a door switch clicks, it may still be bad inside. Its continuity must be checked.

Door switch or mount trouble can be caused by slamming the door or by opening the door while it's cooking without hitting the Stop pad first.

If you or someone you know decide to look into it, we have critical information on safety, disassembly and door switches at our site, and our link is at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk

If you think the problem is on the control panel, we repair these nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in most cases.

We're happy to help and we appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
