The sensor inside the water container has either mineral build-up (scale) or a bit of coffee grounds stuck to it.

  1. Run a cycle with a retail coffee maker "cleaner solution" to clean the water reservoir, or let vinegar soak inside 5+ hrs.
  2. In both cases, turn unit upside down and power wash reservoir 2X to dislodge deposits that have loosened during the soak.
  3. Make sure to run a few cycles of plain water thru coffee maker before making the next batch of coffee.

Make sure the brew group is in
rest position; the two references
must match.(look at the marks/arrows on the side of the brew group)

Make sure the components are in
the correct position.
The hook shown must be in the
correct position; to check its
position, firmly press the "PUSH"
button.

Same problem here. I've googled and see that there are many people with the same problem but no clues about how to solve it:

Flashing Red bulb

That is the descale light, you should run a descale through the machine. After you have done that hold on the water button and the descale light will go away

I Have descaled my Saeco Odea Go but still it doesnt brew coffee

That is serious, that means the grinder is jammed or not working. To check the components of the machine follow these instructions.
Press and hold the steam button and turn on the machine, when you see the lights going around in anticlockwise direction, release the button. Turn the coffee dial to the left and press the steam button, the grinder should turn. Dial on the right and pressing coffee ****. water pump runs. Press steam ****. brew group go up, dial 1/4 to left B/Group down.
If grinder not turning the motor is bad. Hope it will help to find out.

My Saeco Odea Giro has the element light permanently on (not flashing) and the strength light is set to 3, I cannot change it. I have tried descaling, cleaning etc. Any ideas?

The element light is saying it,s time to descale. Since you have done that you can remove it by holding down the water button for a few seconds until it goes off.The strenght light?.checked whether it is not sticking.

Red ! flashes constantly

The lube is for the o-rings on the brew unit, and the ones on the white plastic valve behind the brew unit. As for the light there might be something a little coffee grounds keeping the door open.

Seaco Giro Quick Flashing Red Alarm

Bypass the door interlock with a magnet (the red light will go out when you have the magnet correctly placed above the group). Brew a cup and watch to see how the water is getting into the hopper. Once you know how it is getting into the hopper it should be relatively easy to determine how to fix it.

Saeco Odea Giro - Watertank

Yes that is perfectly normal. It has to have enough for a long coffee or steam. So it always has some to spare in the tank.
