Hi need a battery pack for my Bell walky talkies model BC-202 3.6 v 550mAh bomber on battery pack C85

After searching for this particular battery pack I am going to guess that these have become obsolete. That being said, I can't see why it wouldn't be possible to carefully split the heat shrunk plastic from your non charging packs, de-solder the connector pads and retrofit them to replacement batteries with the label or a home made version using heavy duty tape. Sometimes it's necessary to improvise when there are no options. The equivalent rated batteries are available but are not cheap. This might be a good starting point for a suitable source -

How can a Polaroid Pogo printer works without battery, directly connected to current?

If you a reasonably handy you could disassemble the battery pack and replace the cells with new NiCad or NiMH units. They are not complicated and you should find lots of sites on the net that will supply the cells. Alternatively if the unit has a DC socket you should find the voltage and current printed beside it. Try fitting a suitable power pack.

Low batter warning

Hi Kathy,

Wakie talkies are low powered, cheap toys for kiddies to play with.
Having said that, the problem is that you need to try using rechargeable batteries or lithium batteries.
These radios eat batteries, so the better the battery type, (more expense), the longer they last. I would advise that use be restricted to short periods at a time and to remove the batteries when not in use. Better still pay for a real CB radio and not have these problems.
CB radios can be obtained on ebay (Brand New), from as little as $125.00, the units come with lithium rechargeable battery packs and charger.

Cheers,
Peter

I need instructions for my timex clock

Hello
Here are the instructions for your clock-radio.

Installation

1* Remove unit and all packing materials from the carton. You should save packing

materials in case unit needs to be returned for service. If you do not wish to save the

materials, please dispose of them properly.

2* Place the unit on a stable, level surface, close to an AC outlet, out of direct sunlight,

and away from sources of dust, dirt, heat, water, moisture, vibration, or magnetic fields.

3* After installing the batteries (see below) and reading the Maintenance notes, plug the

AC cord into an outlet.

"Sure Alarm" Battery Backup Installation

It is strongly recommended that 2 "AA" batteries be installed into the unit, as directed below,

in order to activate this product's "Sure Alarm" Battery Backup feature. (The model should

come with two batteries already installed.) In the event that the AC power cord is disconnected

or a power failure or other interruption occurs, the "Sure Alarm" Battery Backup will maintain

clock and alarm settings for the life of the battery, ensuring that the alarm (buzzer only) will

sound at the set time. During any interruptions the time and alarm settings will be saved

and automatically restored when AC power is again active.

1* Gently turn the unit over and remove the battery

compartment door.

2. Install 2 "AA" batteries (alkaline is recommended for

longer life), while making sure that the + and - ends

match up with those inside the battery compartment.

3* Slide the battery compartment door back on, making

sure the door locks into place, and gently return the
unit to its upright position.

Card indicates memory error what can be done to correct this problem and also save dictation already on there ?

Hi cazpell,

If you're encountering a memory error, it is often caused by the battery pack. Battery packs included with the DS-4000 are rechargeable battery packs. This problem is likely to happen on the DS-4000 when a NEW battery pack is being used. The battery pack out of the box does not hold enough charge to power up the recorder through its initial start-up procedure.

1. Please turn off the recorder.

2. Remove the battery pack and memory card for 20 seconds.

3. Install the memory card in the card slot.

4. Install new AAA batteries before you turn ON the DS-4000.

5. Your battery pack may also not be fully charged. All new battery packs must be fully charged from 2.5 to 3 hours before first time use.

6. For the first week to 10 days of use, it is recommended to recharge the battery pack as often as possible. This will exercise it and improve its charge-hold capacity.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Heats up drains battery fast

heats up?do you mean the unit itself heats up fast?if that so.you unit has a short circuit inside on it thats why your battery drains so fast...,but if its not,the problem is on your battery. Not even a battery can charge is meaning that your battery is still good.If a battery has defect or let me say it is already weak,it will not already stored a longer life of a power.,becoz if that so,the current or well known as the ampere is already goes down than the given specification when it is new..and thats the reason why it is already fast draining.

FT-11r no longer powers up with a known fully charged battery ? The battery was left in the unit a couple of months with a discharged battery. Could this have damaged the unit ?

It's unlikely leaving the battery pack attached ruined the radio, unless it leaked and corroded the contacts. Be sure they're clean and bright. Double check to be sure the battery pack really is charged to rated voltage.

Flip ultra hd not charging

I had the same problem, but it seemed to be a bit more sporadic. I'd occasionally get the "Charging Paused - Check Battery Pack" error. The battery pack itself looks a bit strange, since the white plastic covers the bottom, right side and it seems that there is no possible way for the battery to make contact with the camera. However, I saw the following suggestion on another site (which the poster claimed came from Flip technical support), and this technique worked for me:

1) remove the battery pack from the camcorder
2) connect the camcorder to a powered USB port on your computer
3) when the "Connected" indicator comes on, insert the battery pack into the camcorder
4) safe eject your camcorder from your computer
5) reconnect your camcorder to your computer
6) the battery pack should now begin to charge within the camcorder

Hello pjbracht, I just responed to a duplicate of your problem. If they are new, return the battiers and confirm they are "by the book" replacements. If so ask for replacemrnts with a higher mAhr. It is not correct for vibration from a battery pack, lead, NiCad, Ni-MH, period.

Battery pack

According to Venturers website, they do not offer battery packs or anything like that.
Also i don't think there are compatible third party battery packs available...
