try using the browser to go to the Pandora site and logging in, It's a little more effort, but it should allow you to play your statons. As an alternative music source, try iheart radio.

Yes, all you need is a standard audio adapter cable that plugs into the earbud jack on the kindle and into the "variable in" jacks on the back of the Bose. (male stereo 1/8" plug to a pair of male RCA/phono plugs).

There are a lot of internet radio stations that you can listen to even if you don't live in the US. I have found tunein to be a really good alternative to iheart radio or Grooveshark in place of Pandora.

Yes There is a pigtail fuse in unit. It solders to main board. In order to replace you have to pull main p.c.b to get access to bottom of board.
