I suspect you think you are using a genuine samsung cartridge but its simply not. The machine is looking at the chip in the cartridge and its not genuine. I suspect your cartridge did not come out of a genuine blue and white Samsung box or its similar but not the correct one.

take the case off,
there are 2 screws holding white cables on the LHS,
unscrew these,
replace fuser,
re-terminate cables,
case back on,
done!

I have a feeling that it is a re-manufactured or compatible cartridge??
There is a fuse that needs to be replaced on this unit. it blows when the cartridge is installed to reset the machine. If the fuse has not been replaced or is defective the machine will not recognize the new unit.

My guess is that this cartridge is remanufactured??
It requires a chip or fuse be replaced, in order to reset the machine when you replace it, and maybe this chip is defective or was overlooked.
If it's an original Samsung, then this is not likely the problem.

There is something wrong with the cartrige head. First try to take out the cartrige and in the head there is contact points. You can try and clean it with a dry cloth.

take the new cartrige out. you will see there is a fuse on it. take it out and put new fuse any amp. put the cartridge back and close the door for 2 sec. take the cartrige out and remove the fuse. put it back in. it should work.

you will find under the setup a toner egnore put it on.
and swich unit off and on.
