Clear liquid leaking from adapter of laptop charger

I really for the life of me cannot think what that would be.

IF, Electrolytic Capacitors are used on the motherboard, and IF one or more were bad; the Electrolytic Paste ooze from inside would be more of a Yellow, or Brownish liquid.

Someone spill part of a drink on your laptop, clean it up off the top real good; and not tell you?

The Cooling Tube is part of the cooling system.
Slightly flattened copper tube, sealed on both ends, and filled with Nitrogen.

Wonder if a pinhole developed in it?

I guess the only way to know is to L@@K inside, huh?

I'll start by seeing if there is an HMM for it, and then look for pictorial info; on disassembly for you; AND give you guidance step by step as best as possible.

Normally this should never happen. There is definitely something wrong with your laptop charger. You should stop using it. You can purchase replacement from stores such as ebay, amazon, google shopping, and etc. They are the cheapest compared to the your laptop brand's company. However, their prices and policies also vary greatly.

If you are using the Windows 7 try to open Command prompt while booting the computer go to the advanced recovery option and try to open command prompt and see if the keyboard is working , if it is then load BIOS setup default and restart the computer
or else
Shut down your computer and disconnect the battery and also the Ac adapter which is connected to your laptop, and then once your computer is Off just press and hold power button for at least 15-20 sec and yes do not lift your finger from the power button Reconnect everything Battery as well as your Ac adapter, and try to see if the issue is resolved or not

give us a picture, try to boot it without battery, just plug in power adapter

Yes...the liquid is toxic. LCD solution can be highly toxic and ought not be touched. I would definitely put it somewhere where your cats can't get close to it, and bring it to a repair shop.

No, it will not be safe to use it again, and yes, the yellow liquid is VERY DANGEROUS. Please do not use it again, you need a new charger.
i dont think the batery was affected, but if it was, you also need to throw it way and get a new battery.
