Question about Life Fitness 9100 Next Generation Remanufactured Treadmill
Hi i have 2 lifefitness 9100hr treadmills and one of them every so often cuts out and resets the whole screen! It may sometimes work for the entire workout and go days without a fault and then other days it can cut out after 1 minute or 10 minutes. It seems that when you tap the emergency stop button a few times it works fine again until next time it decides to cut out. Any ideas what this could be? Thanks
Iv had similar problems, only happened once tho - i switched it on after a few mins
it would go off.
iv read to dismantle the stop switch, clean and replace the microswitch. where can the microswitch be found from?
also, is the red stop switch that needs looking at? how can i remove it?
i was wondering on how i can service/maintain this properly, can anyone advise my on how to give this a service.

Dismantle stop button, clean and replace micro switch with an original one otherwise open, clean and reassemble all.

As said in the other post clean around and under button making sure to remove any moisture from area. Sometimes if you file the edge of button that is all that makes it stick. Watch out when you reassemble you don't pinch any of the wires as they are very sensitive. Best of luck.
