Seems like your Bluetooth and Wifi settings are disabled from BIOS.
On laptops usually there is a setting in BIOS where you can disable/Enable Wifi+Bluetooth.
Shutdown computer
Turn on computer and press "F2" to go to BIOS settings
Find settings for Wifi+Bluetooth and set it to default.
Save settings and restart computer
You will be able to see your Bluetooth and Wifi.
Hope this works
If it has stopped working all of a sudden, could be a faulty router. But before that, I would suggest you to reset the router once.
Hope this helps
Thanks

First unplug your adapter and boot your computer. It wouldn;t hurt to reboot it once as well. This should clear out any settings. When it has fully booted up only then insert the adapter into a different usb port. If it recognizes it and works it can indicate a usb problem.
If it finds it but doesn't connect a adapter problem. You can uninstall it and reinstall the drivers and it might work. If not replace. If it does nothing then its died on you and your adapter needs to be replaced.
Most adapters and home network units (wifi routers etc) only last for 1-2 years before they act up or die on you. Very annoying and can be expensive. I have a stack of wifi routers where the wifi isn;t reliable but the rest works. And a drawer full of various wifi adapter that are detected but not connected and a few just plain dead ones. All of them seem to fail at about the same time after purchase.
what kind of connection do you have? and to what?
I assume you have an ADSL(high speed) connection to the internet, and are trying to connect wireless to a laptop or something.
what kind of devices are you trying to connect together? this will help with an answer.
