E30 FLOODING SWITCH ERROR - Fisher and Paykel Dishwashers

There are two ideas on this! The flood switch is more likely. There is a plastic tray above the floor and below the pump. The flood sensor is in the tray.

Error Code E01 - this error code usually relates to problems with the door lock (in some models this is indicated by error code E07). Checks will need to be made on the connection to the circuit board and to the lock itself, for any broken wires and to see if the interlock is faulty.

Check float switch

You have to turn the power off, clean that cesspool drain area thoroughly, dry all around the door seal, and tip dishwasher backwards. Then the flood switch resets and the E30 error disappeared for me.

3 Beeps/E30--Error: Drum overfilled. Cause: Inlet valve,pressure switch or control board failure.Select drain/spin to remove water. Restart.

That is the anti-flood error. Tipping the machine to a 45 degree angler should fix it.

The FL (Over Fill) error code indicates that the flood pressure switch is open (tripped). Sounds like the emos sensor is corrupted.

E30 is a motor problem which is most likely brushes need replacing.

had to call an enginer out, the problem was down to a faulty motor rota, to identify if e30 is this fault, rotate the drum (so the motor rotates) and try to start the m/c. if it runs ok you know to change the rota. hope this may help someone
