Charged for an hour will not come on. Recharged for 8 hours same thing. recharged for 10 hours same thing. Connect to pc with charging cable they turn on and can hear music. Doesn't make sense.

hi, one of two things,

Either the charger fully charged circuit has failed or it's not actually charging

or

the batteries in question cannot recharged ..

LED Light 1 (L1) - is by the earphone socket
LED Light 2 (L2) - is by the USB connector

Charging: Please switch on the player before charging. (Push the on/off switch to 'on' )

When charging the battery for the first time it is recommended that the player is charged about 8 hours. Connect the player to an active USB port using the supplied cable. The computer must remain on during the charging process.
Recharging: Recharge the player will take about 3 to 4 hours. When it's charging, L2 will turn on in red, when it's fully charged, L2 will turn to green light.
When playing music, L1 will shine.

Haier HLT71 portable TV battery is good for about 2 hours.
You can recharge it from your car cigarette lighter jack.
Or from your household 120 VAC wall plug.
It comes with both adaptors you need.
It takes about 8 hours for a full charge.
You can charge the TV while watching it, or you can power it off.
Not sure if it charges faster or the same if you are watching.
If the battery does not give you 2 hours after the first charge, try charging and using it a few more times to bring the battery up to full capacity.
Replacement batteries are available on eBay. Good to have for backup in case of a storm.

you need to have the batteries tested it is possible that if left in a discharged state for an extended time that thee batteries may be damaged and will not be able to be recharged

This happens when the battery is completely Flat.. In order for it to charge up it needs to be left alone to charge for at least 8 hours.. It is also possible that the battery has become so flat that it simply cannot be recharged via the adapter. In which case you will need a new battery, you would know after 8 hours...

a good rule of thumb is to charge it one hour for each amp hour the battery is, so if its a 12v8ah battery charge it for 8 hours, if its a 12v10ah battery charge it for 10 hours, and so on

Did you let it fully charge before you started using it? Most companies will tell you with any electrical things you need to fully charge before using. To fully charge it can take any where from 4 to 24 hours. So place it on the charger for a full 24 hours then see how it works. Then if it still doesn't work it may be defected.

Your battery is recharged when connected to your computer. Turn the player off and connect it to your computer via the USB cord. The computer must be turned on. Initial charge should be for 10 hours with subsequent charges 3 to 4 hours for a full charge. A quick charge of 1-1/2 hours will give you a 70 percent charge. A fully charged battery will last up to 15 hours under normal use.

Connect the supplied AC/DC adapter/charger to the 5V DC jack on your hdd and the power supply. The AC power icon will indicate on display showing that the Jukebox is now adapter operated. It takes 4 hours to fully recharge the hdd and once the battery is recharged fully, the jukebox can play up to 10 hours of music on the move

Not sure if this will help... however an altmeter will allow you to test along your electrics for any faults. You can check at the lights for example and throught the system.
