How do I go back to factory settings? My phone won't allow me to send a text mssg, only receive.

Since it is unlocked you'll have to go into the settings menu after you find Vodafones settings to allow you to do the mms and animated photos/videos. I unlocked my iPhone 5 from att to take it to straight talk, and had to get the gsm settings and other needed numbers to put into the phone to allow me to use the messaging and internet. You may need to contact customer service to get those settings. Use your home phone or another phone to do it, as they might be able to do it for you remotely.

try to do factory setting default code is 1234 or 0000, or to hard reset try 2945#*# and select factory settings, but before try all this make backup to avoid loose your data of device.
This will solve your problem.

hi i had the same problem with my sciphone i was advised to restore it back to factory settings which i did but my phone no longer works on my network o2 but accepts a t-mobile sim but wont allow me to make or receive calls or send/receive texts, so if this solution is advised to you dont try it unless you know how to fix it afterwards

try reset yours mobile
choose mobile setting
reset factory setting
code is 0000

You may have accidently deleted the Message center number. Go to --> Mssg settings --> text messages --> Service center number. In case you do not recall your message center number, call your service provider. Hope this helps.

you may have to check your settings on the nokia- may not have text message 'up-loading'- 'sending' set up. your service may allow 'free' incoming- but not sending!
check your phone settings- may need to go on-line to alter your settings! or find info to set your phone!
