Machine won't grind beans and empty grounds into the automatic tamper in the brewing chamber. Grinder appears to be working normally. How do you take the machine apart?
The rivets in the back of the Jura Capresso units are actually oval security screws. The bit that removes these screws are made of a very hard metal and cost me over $50.00 two years ago. Also many people who attempt there own repairs tear off the little plastic tabs that keep everything together nice and tight. We repair Jura Capresso Krups Bosh etc. www.hotncold.com
One thought is to call Capresso for the recall to fix electrical cord. They will pay shipping both ways and fix any problems for free as part of the recall. Worked for me, might be too late now but worth trying.

I have a similar problem. The grinder is not grinding. I disassembled the unit and it looks like a screw and plastic piece vibrated loose from the top of the grinder. Is there a way to get a picture of what it should look like on top of the grinder and can I get parts?
I need to take the machine apart, but it looks like there are rivets in the back instead of screws.
Coffee beans are grinding but no liquid coming out
