JVC TV I model EM37T. All channels are programmed & working then all of a sudden the channel will turn into example: 32-0 and state no signal instead of just plain 32.

All channels are programmed & working then all of a sudden the channel will turn into example: 32-0 instead of just plain 32 and state no signal . Then I have to reprogram channel in to get it to work again. Has been doing this for about 8 mos now, very frustrating because it just does it randomly with any channel. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

All of a sudden my 32" soniq tv keeps saying No Signal to all channels

Use the remote to see if it got switched to another input on the TV instead of where the antenna or cable input is hooked up to. If it is on one of the other inputs where nothing is hooked to you will get no signal.

How to find the channels at my tv?

Depends on what you are using for signal and how connected and what MODEL number is for this set.

If for example hooked with a coax cable to the coax fitting with no box all you should have to do is enter the menu and select Auto program with set in cable mode.

If have lost digital channels but non digital work that is another issue.

I can't find any channels at JVC LCD TV

Not knowing the model I will make some suggestions: If have a DVD player and it works via the rear audio/video inputs try connection of your set via the rear jacks like the DVD uses.

How are you hooked up? cable? cable box? Sat? what?
If no channels found it may be no signal is reaching the set or the tuner in the set is bad--lots of reasons with same result.

If for example have a cable box with audio/video outputs connect instead of to the coax fitting on the set to rear jacks--go to that input and change channels with box---by pass whatever this issue is.

My neighbor has acquired a jvc tv/vcr combo w/ original remote. when she wanted to program it for cable it only seemed to do ch. 33 - 79 channel 2-32 did not show up. We also could not figure out after...

Your cable company has probably started distributing 2-32 as digital channels. The JVC only has analog NTSC capability. You can acquire an inexpensive digital tuner for around $40 to solve the problem.

My VCR not recording after the switch to digital tv signal

The answer to this question can get a little complicated. Lets tackle it in two parts. First the last part; the part about picking up channels as decimals. With analog TV transmission, it took the full television broadcast channel to transmit one standard definition TV program. The newer digital transmission system uses some advanced video compression and audio compression technology to reduce the data needed to transmit the pictures and sound which allows the same bandwidth to deliver either High Definition Television programming or MULTIPLE channels of Standard Definition programs. So in your example above, you use to watch one channel of programming on TV channel 4, but now the TV station can broadcast multiple channels of programming on channel 4, sot they delineate the programs with a decimal point. So 4.1 it the first program on TV channel 4, 4.2 it the second program on TV channel 4..... Well, I hope you get the idea.

Now for the hard part of your question. I believe that before the transition, even with your new digital TV, you were still enjoying the analog broadcasts from your stations. Your VCR picked them up and recorded them and your digital TV could tune them in and you watched as you had always done in the past. After the transition you noticed that your VCR could not record anymore and your digital TV had discovered the digital channels that replace the analog channels. To remedy this situation, your VCR will need the aid of a DTV converter box to tune channels, and you may have to reconfigure the way your TV and VCR are connected. The best resource that I can give your for the reconnecting is the website http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/converterbox_vcr.html. Turn tv on and get no program or weak signal message.

You should be watching tv in no time. Email me and let me know how it went I would like to know if I was able to help. [email protected]

1-You didn't say what model tv you have. Is it a HDTV?
2-Are you using an over the air (roof) or set top antenna connected to the tv?
3-Are you getting the no program or weak signal message on all channels?
4-Have you tried first cycling through the source or input button to make sure you are on TV and not on an input. Sometimes if you are on an input and for example the device connected to that input is off you wil get a no signal until you turn the device first but you probably already know that.
5-When you were in the process of scanning for channels assuming you had an over the air antenna connected did you make sure and select the ota option and not cable? if you have an ota antenna and not cable you need to select ota before scanning for channels.

Now assuming you have an ota antenna and you chose ota before scanning or doing a re scan and after the scan you still get the no program or weak signal message that means there is no signal and you may be using the wrong antenna or try moving the antenna in the direction of the television tower if you know where that is or turn in another direction but unless you are using the wrong antena you should get something.

Assuming you received some channels or even if you did not, try to and add channels by hand. Heres how: first you need to know the RF frequency channel or digital channel its transmitting on you just cant input the number of the display channel you want like on a tube at least not initially but you can after you first input the rf or digital channel number first and saving it on your tv then you can just input the display channel number you are used to. Heres how to manually force the tv to enter a channel without a scan or re scan and possibly loosing other channels with a rescan.

Go here http://www.rabbitears.info/search.php and go to state search choose your state from drop down list and click search now do you see the list of stations? on the left you have the display channel (thats the number you usually entered on a regular tv) and next to that is the digital channel (thats the number you need to enter on an hdtv or dtv initially to force the tv to accept the channel because if you just enter the number your used to initially the tv wont find it) the tv should now automatically redirect you to the channel you are normally used to and any digital equivalent and any sub channels for that channel. Now save it into memory in your tv menu channel list. do this for every channel for your area if you were unable to pick up any stations during a scan.

Picture shows snow and fuzz on channels JVC AV-32980

Sounds like U have an antenna or feeder problem. Get it checked out/ check it out. If in a strong signal area, try a simple indoor antenna for comparison. If in a marginal reception area, it could be your antenna is inadequate.

37" Polaroid LCD TV No signal appears when select channel

I was having same problem, and think I got lucky and found fix.

Try unplugging the TV and waiting 30 seconds, then plug back in.

You will likely get blue screen with "No Signal".

Go to Menu, then scroll down to "Setup". Select "Factory Reset" then hit "Yes."

This did it for me. Wish you all luck.
