Hi mate i had same problem this morning, i was gutted cos i got mine off ebay, so have no guarantee, however i went to se site and updated the softwear, even that there was no update, it re-installed the softwear and wala its working fine, am i ha happy bunny. Hope it works for you? Meurig
This is normally a sign that the firmware is corrupt - back up the data in the phone to the memory stick, and then run the SE update service program on a PC and reinstall the phone software (if it says "you already have the latest firmware", then select "reinstall anyway")
two things, if you're using a wireless modem, unplug it from console, re-set it and let it connect and sit for a minute. then plug it back into the console. if you have just a regular modem do the same thing. make sure the wire connecting you're box to the modem isn't too long(over 7feet is too long). it wont update if you're not connected to the internet.
Did you turn your current graphics card down to 256 colors(more then likely your old video card is built into the motherboard). You have to do that before you install the card or that may be causing your error. Keep me posted, Lee
