well assuming your tablet is running android it works very easy to do this , find your sd card in your "file" app then tap it to select it , locate the file names of photos on sd card and tap it , android should pop up a dialog box that asks you if you would like to add this file to tablet ?? answer yes and it will be done , since digital photos can be memory intense you might be only able to save a few to your tablet , Me id leave em on sd card and just view them on tablet
There are several methods to help you set download application path to SD card by default.
Please follow the steps given below,
Method 1:
- Insert the SD card into the device, Touch 'File Browser' on 'Home screen'.
- Tap 'Apps', On Apps, select the 'App to be installed'.
- Tap OK to install the App to SD card.
Method 2:
- Tap 'Settings' on 'Home screen'.
- Tap 'Storage', Check to turn on SD card, and set 'SD card' as the default storage place.
Method 3:
- On your Android tablet or phone, tap the 'App drawer' icon from the home screen.
- From the displayed list, tap on the 'My files' icon.
- From the opened window, on the top right corner, tap the icon with four horizontal lines.
- From the displayed menu, tap the 'Settings' option.
- On the opened Settings window, under 'Select directories' on the left, tap the 'Set home directory' option.
- From the window that appears next, tap to select the desired folder or the entire external SD card where you want the files to be downloaded by default.
- Tap the Done button from the top right corner of the window when you are done.
You might try reformatting the SD card with a card reader connected to your PC. Also, your tablet has it's own memory limit, if you are saving stuff on the tablet memory instead of the external memory card you might be pushing into the tablet's limits. Get a handle of your memory limits by downloading ES File Explorer if you have an Android tablet to navigate internal and external memory.
If you have a later version of the Android O/S such as version 4.4.2, look in:
Settings> Storage and you should see a category called
*Default write disk* Under this will be listed:
*Internal Storage* and *SD card*.
Touch the little radio button to the right of *SD* card and it will turn blue. Apps will still be saved to the Internal Storage but pictures, videos, music, etc will then be saved on the SD card.
Sounds like you are saving to the SD card and it has a corruption. See if you can save successfully to the device memory. If so then backup all the SD data and replace the card.
If your notes are on the SD card then take out the SD card and perform a 'Factory Reset' on the tablet. This will loose all saved data on the device so be careful. Replase the SD card and re download all your apps. The data on the SD card will not be effected.
In the settings of the camera app it should have something called 'default save location' or 'Memory in use' set it to "Ext. SD" card. Most tablets have an internal SD so it is important that you select EXT SD card (external SD card). If you have already found that setting, and 'Ext SD card' is not listed as an option, you need to format that SD in the tablet itself so it builds the folders it needs. Put it into a PC first though to copy off anything you need because formatting it will delete all data.
Uninstall any apps you don't need and anything else you can live without. You can put a 32gb micro SD card in it and have your music, videos and pictures and such saved on it. Only problem is the tablet won't bookmark your films when you stop watching from the card like it does off the built in memory.
