You need to take your TV set to Service Center, because the inner parts, especially the flyback transformer, been damaged or worse, the connector broken, that's why you can hear the noise.
insert external AGP card in the cpu because internal display card does not suppot to picture or movie the other problems will also automatically solved
Check it with other dvd disks, might have damage disk like smushes, scratches, cracks in the dvd disk?Might also could be the tv,nothing to do with the DVD player.
The degasuss circuit is staying on. There is a coil of wire wrapped around the picture tube. Uplug it. The picture may or may not remain in proper color. Take it in for repair to be safe.
there is a safety brake wire that needs to be hooked up. If it was installed professionally, have them explain it to you. There is not supposed to be any video players in view of the driver while in motion. Stop your car and put on the parking brake. If you installed it yourself, you probably didnt hook up the wire. Look inthe install manual for DVD safety wire.
do you hear movement inside like disc rotating, if so then the switch that closest lid is damaged. This is when you fold dvd down it hits this switch to turn monitor off. It could be damaged. If there is no noise or movement then power supply has damaged or batt dead and no power goes to it from power cord.
Hi Anya,
Im sorry to hear of your difficulties but very happy to know im not alone. I have the same exact Sony model and the same exact problem. I wasnt sure if it was my Tv or my upconvert Sansung DVD player. I spoke with Sony assistance..and well..they were of no assistance. They blamed it on my HDMI cable, then the dvd's i was playing, then the dvd player itself. I ruled out all of the above. Mine goes black when i play a dvd in the upconvert format (720p or 1080i) otherwise known as digital..but the analog signal goes through fine. Luckily i am within my 30 days since I bought it, so now that I have seen your posting and am certain its a tv issue, I think i will return it and buy a Samsun tv (a great alternative for same price with only drawback being a glossy screen=not good for bright rooms but amazing color clarity). Sorry I dont have answer for the problem other than your not alone on this one. I have read other Sony users listing similar issues. I hope all goes well with you and wish you the best
Matthew
Eliminate all other gear connected to the set and try it. If the problem goes away, you have a bad source piece of equipment. Like a VCR,DVD,etc....accordianman
