I have a victorlite 1.5 million candle power spotlight lost charger but I have a 12 volt 1000ma- will that work??

If the voltage and tip polarity of your replacement charger matches the charging port on your spotlight, there's no reason why it shouldn't work as a substitute for your original charger. Note, however, that if your original charger was more powerful (say, 1.5 amps instead of the 1-amp charger you have here), it will take noticeably longer to fully charge your spotlight than the original charger took. it's not a problem if the original charger had a lower mA rating than the replacement in your hand--the spotlight will sip an appropriate amount of juice from the charger.

I have a vector 1 mil candlepower sport spotlight haven't charged it in a while, and doesn't seem to want to charge.Does this mean the battery pack is bad?

Unfortunately the batteries lose their ability to charge when not used for an extended period of time. The light is very simple to dismantle by removing the black rubber ring that holds the lens on and then removing the screws. I believe the following battery may be the replacement you need.

I have a Peak 2,500,000 candle power cordless rechargeable spotlight (PKCOTN) and it's not recharging. I tried to recharge on the wall outlet and connect the recharger on the bottom of the handle to the...

There is a panel on the back which opens up to expose a 120 v house current charger. You must use an extension cord (not supplied) which will fit in the narrow channel. The supplied 12 volt car charger plugs in to the bottom of the handle. A red LED lights up when either charger is used. The manual suggests 24 hours of charging before use. My condolences.

How do I change the battery?

There are two ways to charge the battery on this model spotlight. However, if you do not have the wall charger or cigarette lighter plug you will need to contact Black & Decker to see if they have replacement parts. In March, 2006, Black & Decker purchased Vector Products, Inc. Since the acquisition, Black & Decker has assumed the manufacturing of all Vector products. For customer service and warranty information for Vector products, please contact Black & Decker Customer Service.

New wall Charger needed

Depends upon the model, but most use 12v 500Ma batteries w/ a barrel-pin connector.

You can buy one here, or search this site for your model:

Spot light is unable to recharge with the wall

While it could be the battery, it could also be the internal charger in the spotlight. When you plug it in, it bypasses the charger and uses the connected power. However, it is likely just a bad battery. The batteries only last 3 years in an ideal setting and since these lights are typically only used certain times of the year, the batteries discharge and go bad. Need adapter for Vector 1 Million sport spotlight Model VEC156. I am unable to find out where to buy an A/C charger/adapter/power cord for this flashlight. Thanks for your help.

if its the one im thinking of, i had the same problem.

if you look at the back and theres the male prongs to plug into the wall

well what i did was i took off the back

then i took off the cradle that held the battery in place, and stood it up on the lens and simply plugged it into the wall to charge it.

its kind of complicated but simple way to save some dough in todays market.
