How to remove messages from online chats

1)Launch yahoo messenger and sign in, click "messenger" and select "prefernces"
2)Select "conversation history" and click "view conversation history"
3)Click on contacts name on left side, scroll through chat history on right side until you locate the conversation you want to delete/ click the "trash" icon that appears when youhover over the conversation, and click "delete"

Open your chat box that you want to delete click on clear all chat will be remove with that particular person .

Okay, here's what i had to do, go into the facebook settings, then applications, then yahoo. next to where it says facebook chat or messages or whatever it says just hit remove and it was all better.

After Updating, check that you do not have Old Versions of Flash Player, Shock Wave player and Java ...this causes problems.
click --- Start/Control Panel/ Programs
?Delete the Old Versions First................

Hi there,

The chat option comes up in a small box in the right hand bottom corner, click on the box and it should open up a list of your online friends. Simply click on the name you want to chat to and you get another box where you can have a live conversation. You also have options in there to appear as offline so you cant get chat requests while you are busy doing something else and create chat lists where you can have multiple friends in a conversation.

'Appear Offline' lets you do that! Allows you to see who's signed on to Facebook Chat without having Facebook chat activated. You can poke and send Facebook messages to your online contacts from the Appear Offline page.

1.Click the Options menu, then select Mail Options.

2.On the left side of the page, click the Spam link.

3.In the Chat section on the right, select the ID you want to remove from the Blocked List, then click the Remove button.


The person can now see when you’re online and both of you can chat.
