I suspect the Document Feeder is not aligned properly and light is leaking in. You will need to have a technician in to check the alignment of the scanner to see if it needs to be readjusted. random black lines on edges usually indicate light leaking into the scan area.
If dirt sticks to the scan module, it will be scanned continuously and appear as a line in the output. Clean the glass with Isopropyl Alcohol. Dont use any other solvent.

Open flat bed, remove scan camera, clean internal reflector glasses with ear buds to clean dust on it, as well as clean flat bed glass with galss cleaner both sides fix it back, check copy & scan...
If there's a black line when scanning but not when printing, you need to clean the scan bed. Either the glass has something on it or check the paper path if you're using the ADF. A single ink spot either place will print a line down the whole length of your scan.
lift the auto feeder and clean the scanner glass that your pages scan across -it is dirty. You can make a copy afterward and this will tell you if you have solved the problem.
