Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial.

There are a number of reasons why your unit doesn't spray water. It could be that the !) water tank is empty which you can fill heavy duty bladder with hot tap water. 2) If Formula tank is empty, you can fill it with Bissell 2x formula for cleaning. 3) If tank may not be seated properly, turn the power off, remove and reseat the tank. 4) If pump may have lost prime, try to turn off and then turn on the unit, wait for one minute and depress trigger. If still nothing happens, I suggest you contact Bissell 1-800-237-7691 for further assistance.

I would like to let you know that you can order replacement parts for your vacuum needs. Please visit our website http://www.thinkcrucial.com/search?type=product&q=bissell

Why is liquid leaking from my Hoover Wind Tunnel Mach 6.9?

If liquid is leaking from your Hoover Wind Tunnel Mach 6.9 vacuum cleaner, it could be due to a few different issues. Here are some possible causes and solutions:
  1. Blockage: A blockage in the vacuum's hose or air passages can cause liquid to build up and leak out. Check the hose and air passages for any debris or blockages and remove them if necessary.
  2. Damaged seal: The seal on the vacuum's dustbin or canister may be damaged, causing liquid to leak out. Inspect the seal for any damage or wear and replace it if necessary.
  3. Clogged filter: A clogged filter can cause liquid to build up and leak out. Clean or replace the filter if it is dirty or clogged.
  4. Faulty motor: If the vacuum's motor is faulty, it can cause liquid to leak out. Have the motor inspected by a professional and replace it if necessary.
  5. Leak in the tank: If the vacuum has a tank, check if there is any leak or crack on it. If the tank is leaking, it needs to be replaced.

Where you plug in hose to use attachments

Hi, Your vacuum should have complete set of accessories when you purchased the unit. Your hose has snap lock system. Just check the accessories you need to make snap connection of your hose. Unless you have the missing parts.

Do i need a special hose to vacuum up water?

Yes. You need a non-corded hose so there is no power running through it when vacuuming up liquids.

I have a Kirby vacuum with the shampooing attachment. The shampoo/liquid comes out of the shampooer in a drizzle of liquid. There is no foam.

You need to check that the little round screen is in the hole where the hose attaches to the shampoo tank. My guess is that the little round screen is wedged sideways in the end of the hose. Water isdischarging from the exhaust of my new Ridgid Wet/Dry Vac

Hi Robinm61,

I always have the filter in - - it helps protect the motor.

If you're going to vac liquids, I recommend use of an intermediate trap to stop most of the liquid from getting to my vac (makes clean-up a LOT easier). A cyclone-top (available at Rocker.com, for example) fitting on a 5-gallon pail works great. The liquid is mostly deposited in the 5-gal pail, and doesn't gum-up the guts of your vac. You need another section of hose, but that's another one of those tools that is hard to have too-much of. (Rockler also sells a nice hose as part of it's Vacuum Tool Kit - also at Rockler.com). Thanks in-advance,
