My Samsung messenger's speakers went out and stopped working. Then the screen when blank white. It is signs that it is on but it wont show anything on the screen. The people that i took it to said that there was water damage but it has NEVER been wet or near water. How can i fix it?

Your screen is supposed to turn off during a call so your face does not press buttons. The screen is supposed to wake when away from face. This is controlled by a proximity sensor at top of screen by speaker , front camera etc... Make sure your finger is not covering sensor. If this does not work try a factory restore. If problem consists after a restore then you have a bad proximity sensor
The part that is bad is the Ribbon flex cable that geos from the main board to the LCD board. Over time the cable becomes chaffed and will lose continuity between the traces. It can be fixed with

It does need to be soldered on the LCD side.
Or it is liquid damage
u first tak out ur battery for sometime and then replace it. there might be some problem in the battery. else u would have mistakenly put it down.. else u must contact a service center..
Oh my gosh this really works! Our screen went white, we hadn't dropped it or anything. The camera still worked fine but we just couldn't see what we were taking a picture of. We tried this solution and now we can see the picture through the screen perfectly. THANKS for posting this!
