Why I am having trouble using channel 3 on my Bose tonematch the XLR is fine but the 1/4 inch does not work

On the T1® the first three inputs are combo inputs that take both XLR and 1/4" jacks. You want to connect your guitar to the combo jack (in the middle of the XLR input). The 1/4:" jack below that is actually a line-out.

The Tone Match unit is not receiving power

If you are using the Bose ToneMatch cable (black cable - the connectors are round barrels with square connectors). Then this should work fine.

If it doesn't then try a different cable. You can use a network Cat-5 cable.
Note - if you are connecting to an L1® Model I or L1® classic then you need an T1 Power Supply.

L1 model 2 trim not working with tonematch

The Model II Power Stand Trim only affects the Model II Analog input (1/4" jack).

It has no effect on the signal from the T1®.

Hey i have brought a second hand T1 and wanted to ask how to connect it correctly. I have sent Bose an email but no response. As may tell i'm not very technical with these kind of things. Firstly

Have you tried the MASTER output rather than the AUX output?

**********
No one is going to write a 20-page owner's manual for you here.

And you DO need the owner's manual, apparently.

Try the right department at Bose. They DO answer emails. Or get one from a pro outlet like B&H or Sweetwater.

Is there a cable that will send the main output to rca input

They are both analog, so you can just get an RCA to 3.5mm cable.

I am hearing a whining noise when I turn the stearing from stand still position. It reminds me of the noise when the wheels are truned all the way to maximum. But, this noise is not there constantly only...

Hi

Have you checked the power steering belt? it may be loose, sometimes when you turn the wheels the engine will move very slightly and cause the belt to squeel.

Get some wd-40 and spray the belt with the engine running then se if it gets any quieter.

It is quite common from a stand still, also check the power steering fluid.
