Sony F707 LCD/VF green tint

My Sony DSC-F707 started to have green-blue tint on its LCD and viewfinder.
It still takes good pictures, but makes it hard to adjust for white balance.

The problem goes away temporarily when i point the camera on direct sunlight (and set shutter at <1') and press the shutter button to make all other automatic settings.

Called Sony. They suggested to reset the camera (by holding On/Off button for 30 sec.) - didn't help me.
They also said it could be the old battery problem, which is of course not true either.

Any ideas?

I insert a memory stick and it says "No memory Stick" although it will take and record pictures . Does anyone know where i can purchase a 128 Memory stick for the DSC -F707?

You should purchase online from some secure seller.
Like here, its Sandisk Homepage.
search for the compatible Card from the bottom right tab.

Also Note that DSC -F707 doesn't support more than 128-Mb cards.

If helpful, Kindly DO RATE!
Best Regards.

Sony digital dsc-f707 startup goes to "no memory stick"

Could be that the contacts on the camera are oxidised. Try cleaning the contacts with isopropyl alcohol and see if this helps. If not, it could indicate a circuitry problem. In this case, you'd probably be better off buying a new cam altogether!

CAN NOT TAKE A PICTURE

I would suggest looking through the viewfinder. most cameras have a button on the back near the lcd screen that toggles the viewfinder or the lcd. If you give me the make and model of your camera i can tell you exactly where it is.
