Look on the base unit, not the charging cradle. The charging cradle merely plugs into a wall outlet for power. The base unit is the device that's hooked up to the phone line.

I had the same issue with the website. If you live in the U.S. call 1-888-849-0846 and they will do it over the phone. You must have your Serial number to register it.
do not have a problem with the garman. I would like to register and it states this particular one is already registered. Something wrong. Cannot seem to register on line. I give up and won't register it.
