Do the following:

Unplug the unit.
Ask to somebody to plug back the power cord, turn unit on immediately and at the same time keep pressing repeatedly the eject button on the DVD player.

You may need to repeat procedure a couple of times.

If that does not work, the built in DVD unit must be taken apart to fix the problem.

If my comment solve your problem, please do not forget to leave feedback afterward.

thanks.

There should be a small hole you can push a small paper clip or anything else small in, small round hole, will eject the tray.

How do you eject the DVD

I you can't do it with the Remote control, you might be able to do it on the TV itself.
I'm not positive about this, but there should be a button on the back outer-edge of the TV that may control the DVD player.

If not, here is a link to Download the manual. Scroll down & click on 'Guides + Info' and then the download link.

We have a brand new LG TV with a built in DVD player. We put in a DVD and the message was "No Signal." DVD will not play. I cannot eject it from the player

Hi:
The only way to diagnose this problem is to take the DVD out and inspect the take up rollers designed to take and eject the disc. If you hear sound when try to eject you may have a bad belt or the take up rollers are oxcided causing slipage during ejecting.

Dvd player

SOME dvd players have a small hole in the front... just large enough for an opened up paper clip to fit into. If yours has this, unplug your machine and insert an unfolded paper clip into this hole and gently press the mechanical eject switch. If you don't have this feature, your only hope is to disassemble the bottom of your set and spin the eject motor by hand to remove your disk.

probably the eject motor is non-functional.the tv can be opened and the dvd removed manually without affecting the tv section. the problem can be fixed by replacing the motor.
