He is probably not an expert (just kidding, of course he's not..) First, try connecting the Cablevision Box to another TV (if you don't have another HD TV, use the yellow/white/red Composite connection.) If there is still no picture, the box is no good. If there is, then try a different output from the Box or other inputs on the TV. Are you using HDMI (HD connection) out of your Box? Is the TV 720p or 1080p? Set the Box up (from the menu) according to the specs of your TV. Hope I helped.
This is blue CRT problem in tv as it is rear projection tv that has three CRTs red-green-blue inside to project color picture on front screen. Blue CRT (tube) will be replaced to fix the issue and it is job of Pro because lots of adjustments are required after replacement of tube. Local tv repair shop will help you for that. Thanks
i turned it on nd it was still like that nd i gt more mad. i was gna throw the remote bt i presed the menu button randomly once or twice i dunno bt it came back(normal tv)
Are the yellow, red & white cables RCA phono plugs?
Yellow = Video
Red = Right Audio
White = Left Audio (mono)
The red, blue & green cables are for picture only and don't include sound. Have you tried using the red, blue & green for the picture and using the other cable, red & white for just the sound? Don't use the yellow.
go into menu turn color off see if you have a black and white picture if not adjust red,green, and blue screen drive on controls in back of tv you have red, green, blue it will have focus /screen controls cover each tube do one at a time blue focus and screen drive adjust to clear blue picture do all 3 tubes, then adjust them to where you have a black&white picture once this is done turn color controll back on.Thank You for using FixYa and Have a Nice Day.
Did you have color problems in past? Most of these sets have convergence problems. Amps goes out. But you should have seen some type of distortion from color, red,blue, green. If no color problems then maybe vertical ouput out or horizontal output bad.
well it's not a wide screen tv show it won't really matter but if it is H/D you will find a red/green/blue connection in the back for picture and red/white for sound
