Answer: Any subwoofer(s) that you can fit or afford that can handle 2000 watts. Just don't bridge that amp to try and push all the wattage to one because you'll be putting 4000 watts into a 2000 watt subwoofer. Run each channel into seperate 2000 watt subs or bridge to both. PIONEER PREMIER 3000 WATT subs would be perfect because they're quality and only about $125 US $$ each. That way if you wanted to upgrade to a better amp (Lanzar is ok, but not the best clean wattage) you won't blow the 2000w max subs with a power surge if you don't have a huge capacitor. Hope that helps. W ho's the insult guy? Totally uncalled for, but I'm sure you'd have some sensible and logical insult for me for saying that wasn't right. Some people get a good deal on a component and build a system around it or more commonly they buy an amp knowing what they want to push for wattage and get the subs next. Where is it written subs must be purchased first? Actually I'd rather buy the subs last so you don't blow them by getting an amp too much for the subs you already have to handle. You can blow subs with an amp, but you can't harm an amp with subs so it's actually better to have the amp first and get subwoofers that can work best with it. So anything 10" to 18" that can handle 2000 watts, at least 1500 minimum RMS. The pioneer premier's are great and sound awesome. JL Audio, MA Audio, MTX, Rockford Fosgate and Audiobahn all carry great subs at competitive prices that are worth the money and will last. Don't get anything cheap when for a few bucks more you can get everything you want, great sound, clean bass, loud as hell and will last.

If the guy would have said he had subwoofers and wanted to know what amp would go best with it would he have been an idot for buying Which came first, the chicken or the egg? It doesn't matter as long as you get to eat the the chickens and the eggs!

2 X 18" Kicker CVR they will work really clean. 2000 watt max each and 1000 RMS just like your amp.

Why does my spa 500 amp blow a fuse every time I hook up my 15" lanzar sub to it

Because it's drawing more power than the fuse can handle get a fuse with a higher rating. A 100 app fuse worked great for main power with my setup 760w amp a 15"sub 2 10"subs and a 12" sub. Also my amp had 2 30amp fuses on it one for each channel but I ran everything out of one channel.

On a lanzar 535n 5 channel 3200 watt amp what is the best way to hook up 2 lanzar max 12 inch duel voice coil subwoofers

If your amp allows it hook the the sub's to the first two channels but bridge it and only run it on 2ohms so you don't blow your sub's

Mtx mxa 6001 amp cant get it to produce good bass using mtx 5500 subs running a 2ohm load

You seem to have everything in spec. check your crossover points and your speaker wiring. subs may be playing out of phase.
A huge factor is subwoofer enclosure ...if the enclosure is not in spec with sub requirements the subs will not peform great.

Can I hook up 2 lanzar opti1532 subs 2 a kicker kx 1200.1 or do I need a bigger amp, its a 1ohm stable amp an birth sheet says 1390watts but they told me at 14+ volts it will do 1400rms

Based solely on spec sheet information the Lanzars can handle 1300 watts RMS and the KX1200 is rated at 300x1 @ 4 ohms, 600x1 @ 2 ohms, & 1200x1 @ 1 ohm. Even with a 1 ohm load you will still only be providing 600 watts to each sub. While the kicker will provide more power at 14+ volts, no car creates more than 12-13 volts via its alternator. A car battery only provides 12.6 volts. So you will be loking at 1200 watts from 1 channel as a best case scenario.

Additionally, with your 2 subs, they will need to both be Dual 4 ohm voice coils in order to net a 1 ohm final load. Each voice coil will need to be wired in parallel and then each speaker needs to be wired in parallel.

Why my amp shuts off when the volume is turn up and comes back on when lower the volume? I have 2 15 Q Power subs and Lanzar MXA3000D Amp

I used to own a Lanzar amp. I dont know if ours will be the same, but mine had a special safety feature. If i turned it up too loud it would go into it's safety mode and shut itsself down to protect the subs. You can bypass this security setting, but it is not recommended, as it protects your subs from a great deal of power.

To get the most power what is the best way to connect paraelle or

run them straight and dont use the cross over. One speak on right channel and the other on other channel. Then turn up amp settings 7/8 the way up and control the rest from your dvd/cd player. I recommend some monster cable which is very thick. Ground the amp directly to trunk bolts but make sure to scrape the paint off or the connection will be bad. You can also use a cap which will send battery pulses to amp much quicker.

Wiring

In all reality, that amp is probably a bit small for those two subs. To maximize the power from the amp to the subs, make sure:
  • The dual voice coils of each sub are in parallel (+'s together, -'s together). This makes each sub 2 ohms.
  • Connect the subs in series (+ to -). This makes the combination of subs together 4 ohms.
  • Bridge the 2 channels of the amp to the subs in series (see above).
This will put somewhere between 150-200W to each sub.

Keep in mind, though, that depending on the music type and location in the vehicle, the type and size of the sub box is going to make almost as much difference as how much power is on the subs. Sealed boxes are usually small and have a nice flat response, but tend to need more power to sound louder. Ported and bandpass boxes are larger and aren't as flat of a response, but have nice loud peak at a certain frequency.

Let me know if you need any more help!
