How can I reset my Chauvet DJ 4bar lights - Chauvet Musical Instruments

I have not found a way to reset this particular model. Frustrating since the sound activate simply stopped working after only 3 uses.

I bought your fog machine ,there was no remote control in the box,how do I get one

what brand and model did you buy...Some come with a remote...some are DMX and are meant to be controlled by a light system board or controller or some type. These typically dont come with a remote....You can always buy a controller or a wireless dmx remote as well.

My sound active mode is not working correctly. it goes at a fast pace even turned all the way down.

If you're sure you're in sound mode then it sounds like yet another faulty chauvet unit. Buy something from a better manufacturer and you've got a chance but in our experience Chauvet are a rule unto themselves and the kit is not worth buying. We have had nothing but trouble with them and no longer buy their kit no matter how tempting the price.

4 200b chauvet lights stopped working ,blowing the internal fuses when plugged in.

It is never a good idea using LED lights with Triac switches, which I assume if what will be in your remote control unit. Good old fashioned relay units are fine but there is often a problem with triac and thyristor controls as they do not expect the type of load that LED lights present and they often do not switch on properly causing all sorts of issues including burning out (invisibly) interal circuitry.

Looking for a heating coil assembly for the Chauvet Arena Hazer 2. The unit I have has a plugged element, and I can't seem to get the clog cleared. Just need to replace the whole assembly.

Use high air pressure after soaking the element. This means the pressure from an air compressor not the little canned air things. You might do this while element is hot... use EYE protection while doing it!

I have a chauvet hurricane 1800 flex and it won't heat up. Red light comes on won't go to blue.

take off the front panel where the nozzle comes out... to do this, unscrew 2 screws on top, 2 on bottom and 4 on each side, then carefully remove the covering for the nozzle.. if your facing it, to the right of it, is a black little nipple button thats tripped.. press that in and it should click... if it does, run the fog machine with the panel off to make sure you fixed it... if it works, put it back on, if not, try again, and if still not go to chauvetlighting.com and contact them... i had this same problem for a couple months... they called me yesterday and told me to do this.. but make sure it has a full tank of fluid.. i didnt have a whole lot in and i think i messed it up more....);

I am using 3 Chauvet colorstrips. They are hooked up perfectly to my DMX controller via master/slave. There are no problems with the DMX controller. The Chauvet colorstrips are flickering simultaneously...

Check if you may need to use a terminating resistor on the DMX chain. Sometimes digital reflections on the cable can cause random behavior.

Search "DMX termination" for explanation.

Also MAKE SURE you set the program mode to 021 (RGB).

It sounds like you might be in one of the automatic modes or sound triggered.

Hose not pulling juice from the bottle

Your pump is probably broken or clogged. If you do not hear it trying to pump, chances are it's too late. If it tries to pump, but you see little if no effect, first check for a clog in the hose. Second, try running a quart or so of distilled water through it to clean the unit out. This will help if the pump is still going. Repeat this about every other time you use the machine to keep it clean. Otherwise the pump may have already died here.
Good Luck
