Try emergency boot,press reset button, hold circle button , and press power, do all this while usb cable connected to the computer. If that doesn't work try reloading firmware, and if that doesn't work try loading rockboX firmwaer on it.

I am afraid to my knowledge there is no support locally but the best you can do is to approach the experienced audio service centre near your location and ask them to make a preliminary investigation for a possible solution, I hope that fault will be minimal to solve, other wise do not spend much. I am having the same problem. Resetting it doesn't work and now it's locked all the time and I can't do anything with it! There are no suggestions on the iriver website. Have you got any other solutions to this problem?
