If your numbers dim when you push any button, it's probably a battery. If your numbers are off or very faint same problem, battery. Those watches take a 1.50 V cell because of the light, and multi functions. Any decent jewelry store should be able to have you in and out in 10 minutes or sooner.

Good luck, gabe.

My watch not working how to setup

  1. Check the battery: Before attempting to set up your watch, make sure that the battery has not run down. If the battery is dead, you will need to have it replaced by a professional watchmaker or authorized Breitling service center.
  2. Wind the watch: If the battery is not dead, you may need to wind the watch to get it started. Most Breitling watches have a self-winding mechanism, but if it has not been worn for a long time, it may need to be manually wound.
  3. Set the time: Once the watch is running, you can set the time by pulling out the crown (the knob on the side of the watch) and turning it until the hands are set to the correct time. Push the crown back in when the time is set.
  4. Set the date: If your watch has a date function, you can set the date by pulling the crown out to the second position and turning it until the date changes. Push the crown back in when the date is set.
  5. Synchronize the time: If your watch has a chronograph function (stopwatch), you may need to synchronize the time to ensure that it is accurate. You can do this by starting the chronograph and waiting for it to complete a full revolution.

Hello i have replaced the battery on my tissot t touch expert & display not working? Any suggestions. Battery was completely dead before change?

If the battery was dead too long the fumes from the battery might have damage the electronics and that's not good it will have to go back to tissot for a new movement What I'm going to tell u is very inportant. Never let a watch set dead I don't care if it's a windup or an automatic or even a battery watch. U must always keep the running because all the lubriactions will set up and not performed properly. Just like a car setting dead too kind In ur case the battery has cause the problem

Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gerald_b9936683ef6d97c6

The display went blank, changing battery didn't bring it back to life. I have 2 of these watches and have successfully changed batteries before, despite the tricky process. is this watch dead?

Unless the new battery is dead that would explain it, but assuming the battery is good it indicates a failure in the electronic module and should be considered done.

After I changed a battery on R0614ZM TERNER watch, the display went berzerck and then blank altogether. Any ideas at all?

Some watches have a "reset" button or combination of buttons that must be pushed to clear all the electronic registries on the watch's little computer after you replace the battery. You might try taking off the watch back and seeing if your watch has this requirement. Even then, it's not always a perfect solution. Last week, I replaced the battery in a watch that had been dead for some time. The watch appeared to come alive again when I put the new battery in, but when I pushed the reset pin (on this movement, it was on the watch movement itself, next to the battery), the entire watch went dead. Nothing I did would wake it up. I removed the battery, waited 30 seconds, then re-inserted the battery. Problem solved; the watch powered up, and I was able to set the time and access all functions again.
On some digital watches from the 1980s, after replacing the batteries, you were supposed to push and hold all the external buttons for a few seconds to reset the watch. I don't think manufacturers still make watches that respond to this, but it is easier to try than taking off the back and re-installing the battery.

Watch does not work after changing the battery

mcdevito75 here, You can try, double check the battery instalation in the watch, If all is good, try to pull out the stem and move the hands as if setting the time, then push stem back in. It"s also possible you have a weak or even dead battery, even though it was bought new.

Setting a Citizen Chronograph watch

assuming the battery isn't dead (IF IT IS DON'T TAKE THE BACK OFF, YOU WILL LOSE THE SPRING THAT MAKES THE ALARM SOUND) the button on the bottom right click it until the function selector is pointed to time, then pull the button out, then the top two buttons i believe change the hour hands. before setting the time you will need to zero this watch out, or calibrate it or the date will not change in synch with the time at midnight.

my battery is dead and i am a truck driver and am therefore having a difficult time (no pun intended) finding a place i can get parked to have my battery changed. please believe me when i tell you that you will lose this spring, a jeweler lost mine once and it took months to order a new one

Fossil watch dead

Get battery out again. Clean (scrape) all the battery related contacts using steel needle or small screwdriver. Make sure the battery is not underpowered. Refit the battery keeping the right polarity and set the watch.
Don't forget to rate, please.

Fossil Big Tic Watch - setting the correct time on the digital display

The watch is scrolling through the seconds, and is not something that needs to be set. If there is a bottom it is only there to change the way the seconds are scrolling? There are many different types of these, but most are just standard seconds.
