The water is only dripping into the washing tub. I have cleaned and checked hoses and no blockages.

Dripping in tub when complete

If your Kenmore washer series 400 model 22102 is dripping water in the tub after the cycle is complete, there could be a few potential causes. Here are some things to check:
  1. Water valve: The dripping could be due to a faulty water inlet valve. This valve controls the flow of water into the machine and if it's not closing properly, water can continue to drip into the tub even when the cycle is complete. You may need to replace the water inlet valve to fix the issue.
  2. Water level sensor: Another potential cause of dripping could be a malfunctioning water level sensor. This sensor tells the washer when the tub is full and it's time to stop filling with water. If the sensor is faulty, it may not be accurately detecting the water level, which could lead to dripping. You may need to replace the water level sensor to fix the issue.
  3. Drain hose: If the washer is not properly draining, it could also lead to dripping after the cycle is complete. Check the drain hose for any kinks or clogs that could be preventing water from draining properly. You may need to clean out the drain hose or replace it if it's damaged.
  4. Overloading: If you're overloading the washer with too much laundry, it could be causing water to overflow and drip into the tub after the cycle is complete. Make sure you're following the manufacturer's guidelines for load size to avoid overloading the machine.
If you're unsure of how to diagnose or fix the issue, it may be best to consult a professional technician or reach out to the manufacturer for assistance.

Hi I have a simpson eziset 950 washing machine that leaks water internally .can this be fixed Thanks Joe

I am not familiar with the model but if the spare parts, if any are needed, are available all faults can be fixed.

There are two big questions - what has gone wrong and how much will it cost to fix and is it worth it.

Leaking water internally is a rather vague description. I assume you mean the washtub is filling when it isn't supposed to?

If it is clean fresh water it could be the solenoid fill-valve that is leaking or alternatively is receiving current when it shouldn't.

If the water is grey, dirty, soapy water it is probably a syphon-back situation that sometimes happens when the machine discharge is badly connected and the required air-break is blocked.

Water dripping under the rim, into the tub

Sounds to me like you have a siphoning problem You probably have your drain hose too far down in the drain pipe. When this happens the drain hose goes into the trap of the drain pipe. It then pull the water from the drain pipe back into your washer cause it cant break the vacuum. Pull your drain hose up so that on a little bit of the pipe is sticking down the drain pipe

Broken drain pipe under washer tub

Well,i wouldn't solder the old pipe back on.You could replace the pipe or replace the tub entirely. But you're looking at about the same price to repair an old machine for the price of buying a new one.techs come at about $50 per hour and you're looking at about an 8 hour day to repair it.a new machine should run you about $ 400 to $ 500.

Clothes remain dripping wet after the wash cycle is complete.

I assume you have removed the lint filter at the bottom of the machine and cleaned it out to make sure the pump is not stalled on a 1 pence or bra clip. Can you hear the motor start to spin? If not its probably because the water level switch is gunged up at the bottom of its rubber tube where it comes from the drum. Remove the top of the machine and locate the pressure switch - usually a round black or white device about 80 to 100mm across with a rubber pipe on a small spout 8mm diameter. Take the pipe clip off using pliers to compress it and move it back down the pipe. Remove the pipe and blow hard down the pipe to try and clear the blockage - you will hear bubbles blowing in the bottom of the drum water. Also you could very very gently blow into the switch stub pipe and listen for it changing over - clicks usually twice each way - blow - two clicks, release - two clicks. Restore swtch pipe and try the machine again. Good luck.

KleenMaid Washing Machine shop manuals/repair instructions

There are manuals available but these only tell you about the parts of the machine and the different cycles etc. Its a workshop manual that you need and these are not discussed anywhere on the net, Im not sure these were ever produced.
